  For car tyres mechanical foot pumps e.g. Michelin tyre pump, do the jobs, these are very weak for low-pressure high-volume

    The Bosch Easy Pump has an airflow rate of 10L/min while this Gooloo GT160 has an airflow rate of 35L/min.

    It's a world of difference if we're comparing the speed to pump up tyres, the mechanical foot pumps are a backup if you're in good shape and can make the effort.
