If you're interested in a T430 / T430 S the US store is worth checking out. With the Barnes and Noble referal T430s were starting at $584 last week ( Shipping forwarder should be ~$80)

      • Thank you:)

  • Why no full HD lenovo… why…

900p for 14" actually pretty good.

  • thunderbolt connection?? whats that?

  • how long will this deal be around for?

  • In depth review here: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Lenovo-ThinkPad-Edge-S43…

Poor battery life and throttled graphics card (intentionally lowering performance to save battery, create less heat, and minimise noise from fans trying to get rid of heat).

To me its a pass because a small light weight laptop like this has to be portable…. and poor battery life means less portability. For $800 there are better options out there if you want something small with better battery life.

Not negging for those that dont mind having to sit near a power supply in class or at work, but otherwise not a great deal for others wanting to be truely mobile.

    • Depends what you're using it for- an ultrabook if you want lesser processor, longer battery life.

  • I'm not too sure how I feel about Lenovo laptops. I've had quite a few and they seem rather slow given the specs. One thing I do like that I never thought I would is the trackpoint but that gets really dirty and occasionally the cursor start going to one side of the screen.
