    Would normally love this deal, but since the Optus bonus data thing, I have noticed it dropped back to 3G a fair bit, so much so I ported out to good old boost with 45g data remaining. Only doing the $60/year call and text only plan now with amaysim.

        Yeah, especially knowing 3G is phasing out very soon (in 9 months on Optus). I saw such issue personally from time to time as well. I hope it’s not because they have under capacity network which causing this.

    I remember buying 6 or even 8 months of amaysim for like $7… It's hard to take them seriously after that

          so $7 for 14GB across less than 6 months is a hard comparison to 140GB across 12 months for $125.

          I'm not saying that wasn't a good deal, but everyone in my family uses more than 2GB/month. We are coming off Coles Mobile 365 day next month, so looking for comparison costs.

          Only my son needs 140GB for the year and the rest of us much less, otherwise I'd be looking at Boost (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/825201), so I think this hits the sweet spot.

    Bought this one from last Woolworths deal a month or two ago, found that the service reception gone down a lot from my last experience. Internet struggles lot of times in Western suburbs of Melbourne. Have used coles mobile 6 months ago which is on Optus as well but was better than this Amaysim (don't understand why).
    Regretting it now, boost gone up a lot. No idea hows Vodafone network in around my area.

      If you were game, you could get the Amaysim starter pack for $1 and pivot to Amaysim, then back to Coles Mobile as a 'new' customer for the 120GB (on sale until end of today) or 200GB on sale from tomorrow.

      You’ve gotta port out and then back in to use this as an “existing” customer. Best plan is to scoop a boost cashback deal use it for a month then port back in to Amaysim.

      my understanding is these would be near impossible to find in stores as Woolies don't carry much stock of this sort of thing. We went to a couple and nothing was on the shelves so yeh really critical to find out if there is a way to check the stock levels ideally without having to visit store after store????

        Just FYI I found some in Sydney 2765(Colebee). They were along with gift cards at the beginning of aisle. So not at the front counter at this store at least.
