of all the things i feel the need i should get just in case, keyboards are definitely not one of them. i still use my current keyboard for over 20 years.
The issue with keyboards as with a lot of things is that you end up with a favourite, so even if you have 5 keyboards you will only use one. Trick is to get keyboards that are very specific, e.g. a portable one for travelling, one for your office setup, one for your home office, one for your bedroom, one for your home gaming setup, one for the TV, one for the basement setup, one for the….
@ATangk: I have the same keyboard and mouse for home and work (when not wfh) so I feel the most productive

Still using my razer 2013 black widow as every razor/other keyboard I've had since has broken.
Was that when they were still using Cherry MX's or did they swap to their inhouse switches? My Razer orange switch blackwidow died, but i think that was 2014.
I've still got mine I'm pretty sure was cherry browns
@brocky2006: Then 2014 must have been the first year they made their own inhouse switches. The Orange switches started either double clicking or not registering, so I pretty much had to stop using it. All my new keyboards have replaceable switches now.

@Thrifty Dan: To be fair hacking on a membrame keyboard can be pretty loud too.
A previous work colleague was able to make a lot of noise when writing a strongly worded email on a standard membrame keyboard.
