      Umami. Anywhere you need a bit of "middle" in something.. chop these guys up nice and small. As others have said, very useful in Italian cooking.

    I much prefer the Spanish Cantabrian Anchovies - straight out of the can on bread with olive oil or on pizza

    These ones are OK for cooking though

    Is it even "safe" to order this from Amazon? I have had "small" Amazon parcels placed in my letterbox many times. Given we are in summer, I can't imagine this lasting more than 10-15 minutes when placed in our letterboxes!
