After reading your comment I checked and indeed the one I bought is 5mm, there were even cheaper available if anyone wanted the rectangle shape instead of convex
For anyone looking at this from the future:
The mat I got was 2mm. Chair wheels dent the plastic instantly. Trash.
When sellers say 120cmx90cmx0.5cm those 5mm include the depth of the studs/teeth/grippers that go into the carpet and not the thickness of the flat part of the mat.
The better quality mat I am replacing is 2.42mm, which is the lowest measurement I could produce with my callipers. = Not sure whether the 2.2mm of this Yesdex would be sufficient.
Another Amazon drop ship low quality product direct from the Amazon $2 store.
Have medium thickness carpet and this one keeps moving, have to adjust its position a few times a week.
