Magnetic iPad Stand/Dock with Wireless Charging & Free Laptop Stand $69.30 (Was $99) + Free Delivery @ Techloch

80

Hello everyone,

I hope you're doing well. I want to thank those who purchased one of our iPad Dock/Stands last year. I hope you are enjoying using it.

I am happy to announce that we are offering a 30% discount on our iPad Dock/Stands until January 31, 2024, and also giving away a free Laptop stand.

Wireless charging is only for iPhones or Airpods using the bottom Pad; the stand can hold an iPad magnetically but would need a USB-C cable attached to charge simultaneously.

Our iPad Dock/Stands are available in two versions, one for 11-inch and one for 12.9-inch devices. The stand can hold your iPad securely and provides adjustable angles for comfortable viewing. You can use it as a second screen for your Mac using Sidecar and charge your AirPods or iPhone simultaneously.

Here are the compatible devices for each version; please double check you select the correct version:

12.9 Inch:

iPad Pro 12.9 inch (5th gen)
iPad Pro 12.9 inch (4th gen)
iPad Pro 12.9 inch (3rd gen)

11 Inch:

iPad Pro 11 inch (3rd gen)
iPad Pro 11 inch (2nd gen)
iPad Pro 11 inch (1st gen)
iPad Air (5th gen)
iPad Air (4th gen)

The stand also has a Magnetic Mounting feature that ensures your iPad stays in place and Wireless Charging Capability for iPhones or Airpods to enable convenient charging without cables.

Regular Price: $99.00
Sale Price with 30% Discount: $69.30

  • Does ot charge the ipad ?

        iPads can't wirelessly charge.

Can't speak for this brand, but I've had a 12.9 magnetic stand for about 3 years now - unbeatable experience.

        • Well it charges through the pogo pins on the back of the iPad which technically is wire less

          • @chartparker: It's unclear that it does charge via the pins - I haven't seen a stand yet which can. I'm assuming it's just the base which wirelessly charges.

I'll grab one for another iPad to find out.

Edit: "Additional features include magnetic wireless charging for other devices conveniently located at the base of the stand…" - I'd say that's a no to the iPad.

              @bootlace: I stand humbly corrected

              • @chartparker: I grabbed one anyway - it'll be handy to have a dedicated one for travel, plus I can use the free laptop stand for a media server.

The heavy base and articulating arms means they relatively safely bend atop luggage handles and in all kinds of places like train seats - or you can clamp them to things. They're very versatile.

Edit - the base of this one might not articulate, which sucks. Means it won't fold up. Still cool.

                • @bootlace: This version, unfortunately, doesn't fold, but you can make it mostly flat except for the base plate, so it should fit in your luggage.

          • @chartparker: There are no pogo pins for the iPad on this stand. I bought one in the last sale and it is a fantastic stand, but it does not charge the iPad, only whatever device is sitting on the base of the stand.

          • @chartparker: no. that is not whatbthey refer to as wireless

          Hi boothlace,

This stand only does wireless charging for the iPhone / Airpods, not the actual iPad, and will still require a USB-C cable.

If anyone has ordered with the expectation of wireless charging, please PM me the order number, and we can cancel it if you wish.

  • I can vouch that these are great, and so is the service. I bought one and used it in our camper trailer instead of taking a TV. It worked a treat.

PS. Make sure you check what version you need here, as I bought the wrong one previously. However store graciously accepted the return and swapped it for me.

  • it doesn't listnyye old 9.7 inch ipad pro.

Does that mean its not compatible with that one

    • Unfortunately, it is not compatible with this stand.

  • I bought one of these in the last sale just before Christmas and I highly recommend it to anyone considering. The viewing angle adjustment is great, much better than having the iPad in a standard folding angle case sitting on the desk. The attachment to the stand with the magnets is super strong and makes me feel like the iPad is held very securely. Wireless charger in the base works really well too.

For a point of clarity, the stand does not charge the iPad, rather the wireless charging refers to the inbuilt wireless charger in the base designed for phones and wireless charging earbuds.

The USB-C port in the base can be a little bit finicky, so I avoid unplugging and re plugging the cord I have going into the base, but other than that I have no gripes about the stand at all. Very highly recommend.

    • Thanks for letting us know it doesn't charge the iPad Pro.

Can anyone who has one of these comment on the portability - does it fold down or is a a little too bulky as a portable option?

    Thanks

    • +1

It doesn’t fold down, so I wouldn’t recommend it as a portable option. Great for leaving on a desk or bedside table as a permanent fixture but would avoid travelling with it.

It’s also got a fair amount of weight to it

      • Cheers - thanks for clarifying

  • Anyone know how this works (or doesn't) if you have a case on your iPad? In my case (🤣) I have a iPad pro 12.9 with a Logitech Combo Touch.

    • +1

In our testing, we have not found a case that works; I think it's because of how the magnets are configured, so you would need to take your iPad out of the case. I am not sure about the Logitech case, but I have the Apple Magic Keyboard case, which also uses magnets, so easy to switch out.

  • If you don't need the charging bit or the laptop stand, this is $29.99 delivered. 11" version also available. Limited stock.

  • Would this scratch the back of the iPad ? Or is there something protecting it?

    • +1

It's got a rubber plate, so it's not metal on metal; I have been using it for almost a year and have not noticed any scratching.

  • Interested to know how people are using their iPad pro as a laptop replacement any tips?

    • "I have a USB-C dock that I use for both my Work PC and iPad. I also have a wireless mouse and keyboard and also display on my monitor. However, the main issue I face is that the Microsoft apps on my iPad are the mobile versions, which leads me to use the 365 versions in Safari."

      • Nice tip will try the web versions, the mobile apps are a little limiting, interested to see if they continue to improve ipad OS to make it more like a MacOS interface.

  • This is great, currently on my desk. Seller is highly respponsive as well and it came with the laptop stand.
