You may as well spend a tiny bit more and get the Acer Nitro gaming for $209
    https://www.centrecom.com.au/acer-nitro-ed320qrs3-315-fhd-va…

Also uses VA panel and also 1080p stretched across big screen but at least you get 165hz refresh rate + FreeSync support, as opposed to no FreeSync / 60hz/ 8ms response times.

If you want to spend less, Dell P2722H 27 is $179 and it has a 27" FHD IPS panel, 4-port USB gen3.2 Hub, vertical height adjustment stand and 99%srgb coverage.

I would recommend staying away from 27" FHD, unless it's for the elderly.
27" monitors should be at least QHD. My 27" QHD is currently for backup purposes.

    • I have a MSI 27" MP271A FDH for $159 and it's totally fine for me needs. It all depends on the user at the end of the day.

  • 200 bucks is 144/165hz territory, in fact there's 2 monitors that are 165hz ips at the same price as this. There's even been refurbished 4k monitors here cheaper than this. Even on pcpartpicker there's several 60hz 1080p monitors closer to 100 bucks. Not a deal.

Or just go on facebook marketplace or something, there's a million of these out there for under 50 dollars (or even free) if you really need a cheap monitor.

As usual, not every sale is a deal since a lot of msrp for older products are massively inflated and are never updated.
