            @cameronthom: I think they mean on Uber/Uber Eats orders. So if you had already paid full price (i.e. without gift card credit), you can switch it to the gift card credit you just added to your account.

    Thanks for this. I managed to get $200 of Uber Eats gift cards for 20% off.

    For anyone curious, the switch payment trick still works for previous rides and orders you paid for with PayPal. I just switched the payment method on seven purchases and all were refunded back to PayPal.

        Just a reminder you can actually use the Uber/Uber Eats gift cards to pay for previous trips/meals placed within the last 30 days

        Go to your ride/order history, select "Receipt" for the transaction, then "Switch Payment Method". Select "Uber Credits", confirm, and then you're done!

        You then get refunded to your original payment method.

    Wait. So is is 20% still available for Uber Eats? Just seeing a bit of conflicting info here. I try for $500 but even on those last pages says it'll charge me $500. Tad nervous to push it further in case it proceeds with the $500 as it appears.

            @trixieb: Not too hard getting 20% off Uber. What I do is grab discounted Restaurant Gift Cards that accept Fast Food eg. Restaurant Choice or TCN Restaurant, these are usually at 10% off. Then use those on Shopback to purchase discounted Uber Eats gift cards (Only works on Uber Eats and Doordash), which are occasionally at 10% off. Giving almost 20% off in total.

                        @nnaa8287: The issue is not with Uber Eats, it's with Shopback. Also Uber Eats by itself is definitely MCC 5812, you'll be able to use any MC/Visa Restaurant gift card directly on Uber Eats.
