You must be a multi millionaire or dumb. I know what my guess is.

  • +8

If there is ever a case of don’t promote the bastards this is it..

  • +7

Professional view? From Trump? Inherited $7bn, spent $4bn… nice profession I would say.

    • +8

I would ask for the source for that 7bn inheritance claim, but I doubt I would get it.

    • +1

Inherited about 600 million, and has run through most of it

      • +7

But in the meantime he became famous, was an international playboy, had a top rated TV show and then became president all while taking his morning dump on a gold toilet.

        Priceless.

  • +17

Some people just love regurgitating the complete and utter bullshit they are spoon feed by MSM on a daily basis. Mind control through media is a governments most deadly weapon.

    • +7

You seem like an expert yourself

      • +3

        Thank you.

    • +1

You know… OzB is a mass media (based on comments and visitors here) :)

    • +6

you should read a book like manufacturing consent. you're so close yet so far.

      • -3

Do books utilise capitalisation and punctuation?

        • +6

Imagine throwing this much shade about punctuation in a reply to one's own comment containing poor punctuation.

        • +1

Mind control through media is a governments most deadly weapon.

          government's*

      • I’ve seen the doco, doesn’t it basically align with what they’re saying?

        • +2

the media is a propaganda tool, but the op's idea of what 'mind control' is occurring is almost certainly misguided.

      • Ah yes by Chomsky who is now rabidly pro war, and a completely discredited linguist to boot. Funny how he completely flipped

        • im not a chomsky fan, but the book is a decent enough entry point into the topic.

    • +13

      X MSM
      X mind control

Come on mate I can't say "independent thinker bingo!" until you say "sheeple"

      • +4

My bingo pen is starting to run out of ink, we even managed to get CIA ticked off in this thread. It's like someone dialed down the difficulty settings to Alzheimer ward level.

        • I just love that the way libtards have to go out of their way when they see anything to do with MAGA or Trump just to comment or slander, why? It's almost like you all think that your opinions are the only ones that matter or you all think that you know what's best for everyone else.

          • @ConsumerAffairs: X libtard
            X slander

            That's a bingo!

I'm still waiting on more conspiracy words, "freedom of speech" (we're playing phrases on the side, $10 or 3 of the orange pills for buy in - winner takes the pot plus stool softener and a kiss from Doris), and can someone please draw some parallels to Hitler and/or the Nazis?

    • utter bullshit they are spoon feed by MSM

And in your mind, fox news wouldn't count as msm?

      • In my mind, Fox News is MSM. But thanks for trying to tell me what’s in my mind.

    • Yup.. they lapped up covid.. there ia no helping the average useful idiot.

  • +3

not be worth the paper it is written on

The art of losing billions of inheritance through being an incompetent moron…
Doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

Second best fictional book of all time.

    • Second best?!
      But it's YUUGE!

  • +1

Just watched Tucker Carlson's interview, I have a feeling a deal is going to be made.

    • +8

But Democrat are making so much money from the war. Why stopping now

      • +6

Is the Big Guy still getting his 10% cut?

        • +4

Actually way less than Obama with his "third term"

      • USA has harvested EU’s economy;
        Incoming presidential election;
        Other fronts: Mid East & China;
Continuous consumption of money and weapon without a satisfying result.

We will soon hear the reports of the corruption of Ukrainian government, followed by the resignation of the president, and the new puppet will get the permission to sign the treaty.

    • Tucker, the entertainer who used to work for Fox?

      • +1

Who also said in text messages privately that he utterly despises Trump and can't wait to stop talking about him lol

  • Hahahaha!

  • +10

I'm not Putin up with this deal

  • +1

Say what you will about the fokka, with his advantages would you have made it as president?

    • +6

He did become the US President with a higher approval rating than Biden. How are you doing champ?

    • +5

If you can pretend that your interests align with the lowest common denominator in the US, and you tell them what they want to hear, then yes it's possible.

  • +7

    So many triggered commies lol

  • I am waiting for the orange peel edition

  • I do kinda wonder what it's like. But not enough to buy it for more than a fiver.

    • +3

Here is how Google Gemini summarises it.

Think Big: Trump believes in setting ambitious goals and aggressively pursuing them. He argues that even if you don't achieve the absolute maximum, aiming high will always result in better outcomes.

Protect the Downside and Maximize the Upside: Consider the worst-case scenarios in any deal. Protect yourself against major losses while simultaneously structuring deals to maximize profits if things go well.

Know Your Market: Be an expert in your field. Deep market knowledge grants you leverage in negotiations and helps you recognize favorable opportunities.

Use Leverage: Leverage, whether it's financial, informational, or something else, helps you obtain better conditions in your deals. Identify where you possess leverage and utilize it without hesitation.

Enhance Your Options: Keep multiple options open. More choices keep you in a strong bargaining position and prevent you from becoming desperate in a single negotiation.

Deliver the Goods: Maintain a reputation for excellence. People prefer working with people who consistently produce superior results.

Have a Strong Stomach: Negotiations get tough. Develop the capacity to fight for your position, withstand pressure, and not crack when adversity strikes.

Use The Power of Your Branding: Your brand impacts how people perceive you. Cultivate a strong, desirable image with a hint of mystique.

Get the Word Out: Trump was skilled at generating publicity. Be strategic with public relations to generate media coverage and shape public perception of yourself and your endeavors.

Fight Back: In Trump's view, when attacked, always counterattack even harder. A willingness to ferociously defend yourself will deter future hostility.

Have Fun: Business shouldn't be dull. If you truly enjoy the process and the thrill of negotiation, it will show in your results.
      Important Note:

Many of Trump's approaches in "The Art of the Deal" are highly self-promotional and often based on exaggeration.

No deal, its free as an Audiobook for Amazon prime members, also not interested in Citizen Trump because of the whole, you know,
Rapey thing, (18+ Women have made accusations) recently found guilty in a civil trial and ordered to pay 83 million. Plus, the Grifter thing (Trump University for one where he settled for 25 million), Plus the Jan 6th insurrection thing which he claims he should be immune as he was in office at the time? Plus, the election inference in Georgia thing, and the classified documents thing, and the time where he paid a porn star to keep quiet about the affair, he had with her while his wife was pregnant.
    the list goes on.

    • +2

Which one he got convicted for? None?

      • +5

Civil trials so far. Criminal trials coming.

      • He is a civilly liable rapist already.

    • +3

He was found to have said rude things about a women who invented stories about him.

I don't think anyone takes issue with that.

      • +5

“As the court explained in its recent decision denying Mr Trump’s motion for a new trial on damages and other relief [in the New York case] … based on all of the evidence at trial and the jury’s verdict as a whole, the jury’s finding that Mr Trump ‘sexually abused’ Ms Carroll implicitly determined that he forcibly penetrated her digitally – in other words, that Mr Trump in fact did ‘rape’ Ms Carroll as that term commonly is used and understood in contexts outside of the New York penal law.”

Need to do some more reading there champ

        • +5

You won’t get through. They are taught to only believe what their handlers say is real. Apparently denigrating anyone who goes against their Messiah is par for the course. I think what will sink Trump is his big mouth as well as his actions. If they get him in the Witness box he will perjure or incriminate himself. Lots of trials to go yet.

        • +3

Based on literally only her claims. Absolutely farcicle.

          • @dowhatuwant2: Well Trump has proven himself to be a massive liar on many occassions so, obviously, she was more believable.

        • What are you even quoting ?

Just looks like you posted some copypasta.

  • +12

In what universe was he any good to Australia? He said a bunch of crazy sh*t then hung up on our PM, betrayed allies and spread chaos, how is any of that good for us? Versus a boring 'ol Democrat who respects the alliance and keeps status quo of rules based international order. So many brainwashed cookers who want us to go down with him.

    • -1

He blocked the trade agreement that would have properly (profanity) us.

      • +4

Did you never follow up on that story or just repeat what you are told? We did it anyways without the USA, so we should be (profanity past tense)? It has been in effect as law since 2018.

He sunk literally everything Obama did good or bad. We signed the same trade deal just without the USA, instead of Trans-Pacific Partnership 12 (countries) it was Trans-Pacific Partnership 11 and China tried to join instead, so he just weakened USA power out of insanity.

  • +9

3camel indicates it's been this price since september 2022. Where is the deal?

    • +2

This is the real crime here. It's not a deal.

    • +2

Camels hasn't actually been updated since September 2022. It still displays the old price there of $19.50 and not the current price of $19.25.

      Amazon: $19.50
      as of Sep 10, 2022 12:11 AM

That's also why it states that it's been $19.50 ever since 2022, when it just hasn't recorded any prices in between (including the current $19.25 price).

I am not sure why or how it gets refreshed. It's a mistake I made a few times before realising the 'as of' date and time.

      Eg: 19 Jan 2023 - $21.70

The $19.25 price now appears to be price matching The Nile

      • Ah thanks, I didn't realise. I'm now unsure if its a deal and I'll revoke my neg as it's based on incorrect data.

      • Even so, it's $1-2 off. Not a deal.

  • +2

Poor dude only started with small loan of 1 million dollars. (it was actually 60 million adjusted to 140 million for todays dollar).

Also this is the guy who just lost 83million on from original 5million.

    • +5

And he bankrupted, what, 4 casinos?

        • +2

    • -2

Yeah, what a loser! This #1 best selling book, a long-running #1 TV show, and won the presidency first try as an outsider with no political experience with the entire media and establishment against him. Currently leading in the polls on track to fail upward again.

      • +5

This book was ghostwritten. He was fired from the TV show. He lost the last election. He lost his party the midterms. He's losing the polls for the next election. All he's doing is winning the Republican nomination. Other than among registered Republican voters, who are a minority, he's unpopular. That's reality.

        • This book was ghostwritten.

I hate to reveal the secret but most books by high-profile people have the guiding hand of a ghostwritter. Probably Obama's memoir, certainly Michelle, Biden and Clinton's books.

He's losing the polls for the next election. All he's doing is winning the Republican nomination. Other than among registered Republican voters, who are a minority, he's unpopular. That's reality.

Why are fellow Aussies hating each other over a politician of a foreign country?

    • Because it's our major ally and the world's most powerful nation and Trumpism attempts to gain control through division. All US political movements influence our own.
