        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Withdrawal_of_United_States_troops_from_Afghanistan_(2011%E2%80%932016)

        Did you forget about timelines?

        • +3

          Thanks for proving my point.

    • +4

      Well that is just rubbish.
The US is providing support to other countries. If we were invaded would you expect them to support us?
The inflation isn’t hyper. Perhaps you might want to read a tad what hyper inflation looks like.
There aren’t rampant stabbings. However, the GOP are the ones supporting increased access to guns, is that why you didn’t use shootings?
Afghanistan handback was something Trump was negotiating. Bush invaded it.
Covid was purely on Trump and the GOP. So what “agenda” were the Democrats pushing? At the height of Covid the US was losing more people, per day, than 911 and Pearl Harbour combined.

Honestly you guys are big on hyperbole and unsubstantiated allegations and not very big with the facts. Get off whatever websites you are reading that are triggering you.

      • Lmao, very narrow-minded thinking from a surface-reading individual. Your job must be alot of being told and not a lot of analysing.

        • +3

And you’ve done no reading or analysing at all. Lots of assertions and nothing to back up your hyperbole.

          • +2

@try2bhelpful: Lmao, you have trouble reading my initial comment hence your very narrow minded reply. You think my comment was based purely on US when I was talking about the global impacts of a democratic administration but then again you don't analyse so thats why you replied the way you did.

          • +2

@try2bhelpful: Very difficult to have a reasonable debate with someone that's acting irrationally.

But not sure the point of this post or thread is, other than to be divisive.

But apparently we have a bunch of (profanity) who made America their entire personality.

  • -1

So these dislikes are allowed Ozbargain mods? But any other legitimate negative votes of a sale aren't?

  • +5

    six finger Trump

The man who knows he can't win without the religious conservatives.

Instead of actually going to church he puts an AI pic of himself there on his Truth media site.

Yet he didn't release AI gave him 6 fingers and put him in the pew backwards.

Why not actually go to church? Is it because he wouldn't be able to resist groping the choirgirls or is it because he would spontaneously combust!!!

He is a fake and the religious conservatives who follow him are blind to the fact he hasn't a religious bone in his body

    • +2

When he made one of his speeches he was holding the Bible upside down and back to front. Just saying? However, you couldn’t pay me enough to look for the “666” on him. :)

Certainly the “moral majority” has no personnel sense of morality, there is no way the question “What would Jesus do?” results in the answer of backing Trump. I hope there is a God because there are going to a bunch of surprised and disappointed people out there. The hypocrisy is astonishing.

  • This is in the fictional category of lies galore. This life long criminal will be locked up soon.
How many of the deplorable mob can even read?

  • +4

Interesting how many cretins here support that bloated loser.

    Propaganda targets the stupid.

    • +1

Yes it does. Case in point.

    • bogans do support him yeah, they want more violence and shootings in this country

  • +3

Buy this book that he didn't write.. because his literacy skills are of a primary school level. Even the actual writer of this book hates his guts.

the only thing more cringe than an Australian who bases their whole personality around right wing politics is an Australian who bases their whole personality around American right wing politics.

  • +2

I always knew there were a lot of boguns on OZB but didn't think it would be this much!

  • Cognitive dissonance.

    A thread.

  • When did we join the union? This guy lives rent free in all your minds for some reason; It's not like he grabbed you by the p*ssy.

  • +4

    hahahahahaha

Imagine thinking that a ghost written book by a guy that started life with a big cheque and progressively lost it with failing business after failing business would be a worthwhile read.

The only smart business move this guy has ever done is selling books to suckers.

  • +4

I may have missed this in such a long thread, but Trump DID NOT WRITE THIS BOOK!
Tony Schwarz was the ghostwriter for The Art of the Deal - and he entirely regrets contributing to his public persona as a great businessman.

    Not a deal.

  • Not a bargain, worth $0.99

  • +3

When this book is free, then it's a deal, would be good to wipe my arse with it.

  • +2

What a low day to see so many in the community support the American equivalent of Clive Palmer!

  • +1

    The man is Prince 😘

    • The correct title is God King.

      • God Emperor 🥂

  • +1

Whole lot of triggered Victorians in here.

  • Does the book say anything about how to grab them women by the (profanity)? Without permission and get away with it? He's a very educated man he surely has something to offer everyone. It's just that I don't see much of a discount here.

  • +4

Great book, I read this in the late 80s and admired Trump back then. A bit outdated now but shows he was a go getter back in the day and did some memorable developments including the ice skating rink at Central Park and development of New Jersey railway yard. Not to mention Trump Tower and his casinos. Yes of course he used a ghost writer like everyone else but I remember it was a good read. This book inspired me to get into property which I'm thankful for after being able to retire at 36yo.

    • Retire at 36yo, I'd love to hear more of your story.

      • Read the book

  • +4

The ghost writer who actually wrote this book said Trump is a flog. That's all you need to know really.

Donald himself has never read the book….because you know…. he's dumb as bricks.

  • +1

    Popcorn anyone?

  • +5

The US is doomed in the foreseeable future. They have no one good to run the country. They only have a choice between a frail, incompetent, wuzzy old man that is on the brink of dementia and a slightly younger narcissistic, sexist, perverted, delusional, big mouth but no action nutcase.

  • +6

Most expensive toilet paper on Amazon.

  • +4

You couldn't even pay me $19.25 + Delivery to read this, and I'm a stingy (profanity)

  • +7

Vindictive, liar, big bully who admires dictators.

  • +9

what the hell is up with Ozbargain. I had no idea we had so many Trump fans here in Australia, let alone on this forum

    • +7

      It is scary isn’t it?

    • +11

A lot of the stupidity has seeped over from America.

We even have a bunch of people who believe the sovereign citizen bullshit you see in the US

      • +4

Fortunately compulsory voting tends to keep them on the fringes.

    • +5

I think you will find a fairly high proportion of low education, ultra right wing trailer-trash muppets in here. With all the sov-cit, covid denier, anti vax moronic takes on a whole bunch of threads, I'm not surprised trump is a lot more popular here.

  • +8

25c cheaper than RRP is not an OzB deal.
Nice try with the “pick me” clickbait post, though.

  • +2

The liberals love him and wish he brought guns to australia lmao

    • -1

If Australia is ever attached by a foreign power everyone will wish they had something to defend themselves with.

      • yeah cant wait to defend myself against tanks with a gun with no military training

next you'll claim schools should be turned into bunkers

        • -1

You just proved my point that you know nothing about what your talking about.

Its one thing to take an area, its completely another to hold and keep it.

More to the point, if you learned anything from the last two decades of the endless wars in the middle east its that you need boots on the ground and urban warfare is very much a different beast.

But please go ahead and prove me wrong instead of making up shit.

          • @vash5: you are welcome to piss off to Murica if you love guns and violence so much

            • -2

              @Freestyle:

you are welcome to piss off to Murica if you love guns and violence so much

As to be expected.. you cant answer the question or provide the proof to support your sheltered views on life.

Like a child you have a tantrum instead. Too bad, so sad.

              • @vash5: yeah you are so cool for liking violence, wow everyone should aspire to be like you, who needs to talk when you can just point a gun at someone to win an argument

                • @Freestyle:

yeah you are so cool for liking violence, wow everyone should aspire to be like you, who needs to talk when you can just point a gun at someone to win an argument

Seems you cant read.. i said defend yourself from invasion.

                  Go back to school kiddo.

Donald Trump is the only person stupid enough to bankrupt a dam casino, it's almost impossible to do yet somehow he did it, not only did he do it once or even twice but four times. How can a human be so incredibly stupid I ask you ?

Here is a list to mull over

    1. Trump Steaks

    2. GoTrump

    3. Trump Airlines

    4. Trump Vodka

    5. Trump Mortgage

    6. Trump: The Game

    7. Trump Magazine

    8. Trump University

    9. Trump Ice

    10. The New Jersey Generals

    11. Tour de Trump

    12. Trump Network

    13. Trumped!

Trump companies that sought bankruptcy protection:

    1. Trump Taj Mahal

    2. Trump’s Castle

    3. Trump Plaza Casinos

    4. Trump Plaza Hotel

    5. Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts

    6. Trump Entertainment Resorts

This is why I wouldn't recommend purchasing this publication.

    • -1

Now list tye ones that are successful by contrast.. you wont because that list is far far longer and would go against your skewed comment.

      • +1

He doesn't have any successful businesses mate, the guy is a con artists and is soon to be a jailed con artist .

        • -1

Multiple bankruptcies, tax invasion and squandering inherited wealth? No thanks

    • +1

      tax invasion

      Tell me more…

      • Google …. search and you shall find the truth. Truth is in open to all.

        • +1

I suggest you google "tax invasion" first.

Or do people honestly not know the difference between invasion and evasion?

          • @brendanm: The taxes invaded my savings account and took it hostage. I blame Trump!

    • +2

      Tax invasion?

I am more interested in tax returns of politicians who became millionaire than a billionaire who became politician.

  • +6

We're all going to all be dumber for reading this

    • +1

Seems like you already are, looking at that sentence 😂

      • Joe Biden level 🤣🤣

  • +1

Like him or loathe him his policies were superior to Biden's, he looked to create peace with the world not war, I believe it's been proven that all demographics were in a better position while Trump was in office. The globalist agenda is frightening, not Trump. Trump is only standing in their way, he hurt the NATO war progression. If you believe in washing billions of our tax money through corrupt foreign countries like the Ukraine, pro heightening tension with Russia and everyone else who isn't in NATO to continue the war machine, you're on board I guess.
Trump may have been the only president since Carter who didn't either take the west to war or involve us in someone else's. The Liberal / Progressive movement used to push hard against war and misinformation coming from the hard right / catholic church, etc, it's now the facilitator of it. While they call any neutral discussions they don't like via Joe Rogan, or 'X', lies, propaganda, etc. Open discussions, not necessarily opinions, nope… they want to ban it all. The pendulum has completely swung the other way. I grew up watching the church trying to censor everything through the right. Our new moral, superior progressive side of politics has taken the mantle.

  • +3

Trump tried to take the troops our of Syria but deep state resisted him to the point of treason. (Syrian oil fields still occupied illegally by the US). Started no new wars yet accused of being a warmonger. Ukraine could only happen under an establishment republican or democrat and the US military complex loves it, more profit to be made off the suffering of others. Peace deal actively scuttled by US and UK when it was on table in first weeks of war. (Boris personally flying into Ukraine to make sure.) The wider populace is so stupid that if you have a late night hosts and tv news repeat the same phony talking points over and over again they believe it without any hint of independent or critical thinking.
Most people who hate Trump have been so brainwashed by the media they can not even articulate why, if you try and engage them in a normal conversation, that get angry, shreik and yell and repeat those same talking points over and over again.

    • +3

The problem is people are usually only replying on one source of news. Whatever they heard/see will be the "truth". But they don't know that the majority of news outlets (the MSM) has been weaponised to twist anything they don't like and to promote any agenda they want down our throat

      • +1

True. In addition, they'll then believe the media outlet counteracting their trusted source is all lies. The truth typically being somewhere in the middle typically. Mainstream media is failing though, some are falling off a cliff.
It's important outlets such as 'X' and podcasts with open, unscripted discussion are available. Governments can always be relied upon to lie, they've always done it and always will. How people blindly follow considering what history has taught us is staggering.
Independent media outlets with no government manipulation are their number 1 fear, hence this push for outing 'misinformation' and 'disinformation' as THEY call it, and the problem of people like Elon Musk who can't be manipulated or bought.

        • -3

people like Elon Musk who can't be manipulated or bought.

          #china has entered the chat.

          • +3

            @SBOB: Case in point.
Doesn't play along and do what he's told, must be a Chinese shill.
