nah! More like Sean Hannity for VP.

Tucker Carlson might be press secretary.

  • +3

Politics aside, how is this a deal?

    • +4

Free entertainment in the comments section

    • +2

Yeah there isn't a deal here. Regardless of what you think about Trump, this book has been at this price on Amazon for nearly 18 months.

    • +2

If you’re curious about the mind of a successful entrepreneur and want to explore the art of deal-making, this book could be a good choice for you.

      • Nothing from Trump's mind is in this book. It's the work of Tony Schwartz.

  • +3

    Interesting…

  • +4

There is no evidence of this being a "deal". The fact that it is lower than its RRP means nothing, particularly when it is a four-year-old reprint of an already-old book. Booko indicates that this is a normal price for this edition. It is either advertising or trolling or both: take your pick.

  • -1

does not seem like a good deal to me

  • +1

No deal, cheaper here $18.14 https://www.fishpond.com.au/Books/Trump-Donald-Trump/9781847…

Moreover, still waiting for Mexico to pay for the wall!

  • +3

Holy (profanity) this thread is embarrassing all round.

  • +8

Love him or hate him, he was smart enough to realise how many dumbasses there are in the world that would believe the stuff he says.

    • Isn't that what was required to become a politician?

  • +4

How many Nevertrumpers in this thread have actually read the book before downvoting?

    • +1

      I'm down with Ivanaka Trump

    • +3

The people downvoting this have likely never read a book at all.

      • +2

That's why he loves the uneducated ;)

    • Most of his haters were fans before he entered politics.

    • The book isn't by Trump, so what difference would that make?

  • +3

OP you are the king of all trolls. You got everyone going. Well done king.

  • +1

Obama was the worse pos ever. terrible pres. Worse than nappy boy biden.

  • +2

I think I bought this book in the bargain bin about 20 years ago. I should dig it out, it appears to have substantially increased in value!

  • +4

The only deal Trump will be doing is plea bargaining for his freedom & to keep his ill-gotten gains.
    Lock him up!

    • If only you hold Hillarys and Biden to the same standard 🤪

  • +8

(profanity) off with bringing american political BS to Oz!

  • +3

Donald Trump's presidency was a fascinating experiment. I laughed, I cried, I marveled at the sheer stupidity of it all. He truly made 2017-2021 memorable, complete with a storming of the Capitol.

But no more please. Joe Biden may have one foot in the grave, but Trump is so much worse.

    • It's probably better that Trump revealed this weakness in the process now rather than letting Hitler 2.0 exploit it sometime in the future. We've become inoculated to it now. Then again we should have become inoculated to it after the McCain/Palin run, but maybe you need the full dose of the virus rather than just seeing it from a distance…

    • Stroming or Stormy Daniels was fun too.

    • Has your standard of living increased or decreased since Biden has been in power??

  • +1

    Literal garbage. Not a deal.

  • +1

Troll post… This is close to the usual price of $19.50 at Amazon and is cheaper elsewhere. Not a bargain.

  • +4

Upvoted to annoy the fragile lefties

    • +3

      Oh the irony.

    • Hahahah.. bless 😄

  • +1

45 is a plaintiff in over 90 court cases.

    • +3

The credibility of the legal cases is inversely proportional to the number of cases.

      • +2

Exactly. How come legal cases have credibility in US? Should be like China and Russia, no cases - just 99% conviction rate and for remaining 1% accidental fall from hotel window

      • +2

That is the dumbest thing I’ve heard. By your reckoning if a habitual criminal is accused of a lot of crimes it is unlikely he committed them?

        • -2

My reckoning is that this is a political hit job in an election year.

          • +1

@rokufan: By DAs and Special Counsel in a multitude of different jurisdictions? Really?

          • -1

@rokufan: Rubbish. Trump shielded himself when President claiming immunity. It takes time for the cases to go through the courts. This was happening long before this election year. Trump needs to take the consequences for his actions.

            • @try2bhelpful: Immunity was a bad choice of defence, he should try senility it worked for the other guy.

    • +2

You mean defendant. His own law suits get tossed pretty quickly these days.

  • +2

    Dork post

  • +2

OZB has never needed a laugh reacc more than now.

  • +4

Normal price. Quilton is better quality, cheaper per wipe and doesn't clog your toilet.

  • +3

Bill burr, quote. "He coming back baby and it's going to be great".

See ozbargain up voted more than down. Proof ozbargain members agree.

    • Exactly.. looking forward to seeing all the lefties loose their minds 😄

  • +4

The man is a white collar criminal con man.

    • +2

And blue collar. Jury in a civil trial found he most likely raped E Jean Carroll.

  • +2

I don't think icecream man will win this time

  • +5

The most despicable liar & piece of you-know-what I have ever seen in politics, or frankly anywhere. And only other despicable liars & pieces of you-know-what, support him.

    • +2

You've perfectly described Joe Biden. A++

      • +6

You've perfectly described you have 1 braincell. I guess you buy everything conman tRump says, hook line & sinker.

tRump supporters. They're like flatearthers. Fools being led by other fools.

        • -2

Go back and watch the ABC. No cure for your trump derangement syndrome.

          • +5

@mckayver: Actually Trump derangement perfectly describes his supporters.

    • His polls and upvotes in this post say otherwise because they see through the media bullshit.. enjoy the next 4 yrs 😘

  • +1

    the art of the (profanity)~~~~~

  • Interesting deals I believe.
After numerous losses, judging from his tax returns, I wonder what is there to learn. Good or bad.

    • Lol. Name one billionaire that hadn't done tax avoidance.

Ever wonder why some Chinese restaurants take cash only?

  • +1

Better than Biden’s “art of the steal”

  • Wasn't this book written in the 80s? How come he looks so old on the cover?

  • +4

Why does nobody mention it was ghostwritten by Tony Schwartz? Look it up. Trump can't write. It's by Tony Schwartz.

    • +6

We know Trump didn’t write it, BECAUSE IT’S NOT WRITTEN ALL IN CAPITALS IN BARELY COHERENT SENTENCES LIKE HIS 3am “Truth” Social posts.

    • +1

I thought it was pretty much common knowledge?

  • +3

This is a troll post. Not a deal. Cheaper elsewhere.

  • There are so many random american troll or bot posts on Oz bargain over the last few months…. Lol… Can someone lease root out the Americans from the site please, also the red aussie flag waving loonies…. Cheers

  • -4

at a complete loss how clueless so much of the population is and led like blind mice by the media pipers.. keep focusing on Trump and ignore what is really going on under the Democrat leadership with Biden in office..
Biden is just a puppet and has dementia, find the clips of his "speeches" that mainstream wont show you.. he has no idea what he is saying half the time and has his handlers rush him off stage… not to mention the sniffing of kids hair, videos of that all over the place.

Democrats and media touted that Trump would drive America into wars and chaos.. none of that happened and the economy and cost of living was going well.. now look at the state of the world under Biden and his handlers..

Trump farts and its top story… they don't touch Biden with a 10ft pole…

    • Bro just Stop!! You're speaking too much truth, the average normie out there don't like it, they can't handle it nor fathom it xD

    • why dont you go raid the parliament house in Canberra like his supporters did in Murica lmao

  • +1

I get headaches everytime I hear this incoherent senile fool ramble on about nothing.

I imagine reading this book will give me permanent head damage.

    Straight to landfill.

  • +4

Worst business man and deal maker in history.

    His losses are uuuuge

  • +4

Unread copies in new condition can be found in most Op Shops for a few dollars. Usually right next to Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.

    Not a deal.

  • +1

Sleepy Joes Scribble book is out now.
Theres a an "A" & alot of "źzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz".

  • I'm just here for the Orange man bad comments without any coherent thought lol

    • +7

The coherent thoughts are the 93 court cases. His argument is that he can’t be prosecuted for things he did whilst president. The Federal courts just threw that out because it said it would mean a President could assassinate rivals, and if his party was complicit, he could evade justice.

There is the incitement of the attack on the Capitol and his failure to attempt to quell what happened afterwards for hours. The attempt to overthrow an election that the courts have upheld. The attacks on the very basis of democracy which is the peaceful handover of power when you lose. The fact he destroys relationships with other countries rather than builds bridges. That is before you get to his failed businesses and cheating.

The bigger question is why anyone thinks he is suitable as a world leader. What form of derangement has taken over his followers. Is there anything, up to murder, the followers wouldn’t excuse. Does the “moral majority” actually have any morality?

      • Wow you were ready at the keyboard to copy & paste that story, like a modern day "journalist" lol

    • +2

The Bondi-Sands-gone-bad-man doesn’t really have any coherent thoughts, no. Evidenced when he opens his mouth.

      • You're referring to Biden right?

    • why dont you go raid the parliament house in Canberra like his supporters did in Murica lmao

      • Nah I'm good thanks, I'm not a crisis actor/FBI/CIA/ASIO spook.

  • +1

If the Dems don't replace sleepy Joe, Trump is going to be president again. Don't believe me? check the betting markets..

  • +1

    WOMP WOMP LEFTIST CULT!

  • +9

    Hello Guys,
Please stop changing OZ bargain into a political forum. Please limit your comments to those aligned with the OZB terms of reference, which are comments about pure bargains only. Doing this will keep the longevity of the OZB site.

With regard to "The Art of The Deal Paperback", it is not a bargain at all. Current court proceedings against the author have unearthed his fraudulent dealings, indecency and how the author has exaggerated his deals.

Since this post has caused unwanted political discussion and the book is not a bargain,
    Moderators, please delete this post.

    • -1

no leave it its funny seeing all these biden supporters ready to watch the world implode

    • +3

Moderators, also please remove any posts on Trump's book.

We don't want to inadvertently mislead our patron by promoting Trump's book, which is not a bargain and it is of an unworthy piece.

Yeah I’m pretty much out as an ozb user these days. Check every now and then but I’m so over the vitriol and politicisation of everything in the comments. Its like Facebook. There seems to be mob of highly charged users who look for posts to set fire to. Check the EV deals, no less than 300 comments every time. This one is amazing, I’m blown away by how quick it turned into a pro vs against Trump shitshow. I have my views on that but I’m not going to comment but the deal sounds like not much of a deal really.

I’m not sure what the mods can do about it but I’m glad I ain’t one. Maybe start a new site, make it low key and invite a small bunch of the older ozb users (as in early users)? Dunno.

Politics aside… imagine getting 35-year-old business or financial advice from a ghost writer for someone who is now:

US$1.3 billion in debt with nowhere near enough assets to justify it: https://www.forbes.com/sites/danalexander/2021/10/07/trumps-…

Had a crazy head start and is billions worse off than had he simply done nothing (AP says US$13 billion these days): https://finance.yahoo.com/news/why-probably-better-investing…

Tries to sue his own lawyer for US$500 million and then just drops the case: https://edition.cnn.com/2023/04/12/politics/donald-trump-mic…

Gets his organisation convicted of all charges in a criminal tax fraud scheme: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2022/12/06/trum…

Has gone through four business (but no personal… yet) bankruptcies: https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2015/06/donald-trump-compani…

    Keeps destroying evidence: https://www.newsweek.com/2016/11/11/donald-trump-companies-d…

And just lost a civil fraud case for more than US$80 million: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/28/nyregion/donald-trump-fin…

    Politics aside.

  • +10

Not a deal, just because it uses the word ‘deal’ in the title doesn’t make it a deal, and what sort of book about deals doesn’t mention ozbargain. Art of the scammy, sleazy, turnip-faced moron is more accurate.

    • Sooo its not about the word "deal" anymore for you is it? Lol

      • +3

Whoosh, it’s a joke. I don’t care about this book.

  • +3

It's easy to know when trump is lying, his lips are moving.

  • -3

    Democratic Administration is a misery.
Countless Wars, Hyperinflation. Rampant neighbourhood stabbings. Don't forget Afghanistan, handing back a country to terrorist rapists.
Nothing is more hand in hand than left-wing and terrorists.

Covid was exacerbated by the democrats who thought it was a good time to push their political agenda and start protesting in mass during an outbreak.

    • +3

Don't forget Afghanistan, handing back a country to terrorist rapists

Sorry, what year was the withdrawal agreement negotiated, with a final date of withdrawal by may 2021? And who signed that deal and reduced troop numbers significantly?

The idiotic blindness of actual events and timelines, on either political side, so that blame can be laid on the other is one of the dumbest things in current politics.
