Just bought one yesterday for the ninja creami 🤦

  • Gah i bought it but looks like my app didn't update saying exhausted promptly enough as nothing tracked and now says exhausted.

  • It's showing "Other participants have already claimed the rewards in this challenge, but you can complete it anyway!"
    Why would anyone do that?

    • Haha, yep. They need to remove that last line, it's not good.

    • Completionist.

    • Maybe it was there to make some people who missed due to delay of tracking feel better, like me, because I completed it anyway :) and all the redemptions were gone by the time my order was tracked.

  • I have bought a $100 Amazon gift card using my linked Westpac card when there were 15 redemptions left, and the base cashback was tracked almost instantly. But the Westpac bonus was not tracked in an hour, and all redemptions were gone by the time my order was tracked in "Your order details" on the Westpac promotion.
I guess sometimes it depends on your luck that how fast the Westpac bonus was tracked.

    • Same. Annoying. Would not have bought it.

      • so your challenge is marked All Rewards Claimed, not Completed?

did you take a screenshot of the rewards remaining counter?

        maybe try contacting @gotyourback?

        • All claimed, i missed out. But it didnt say that when i clicked through for whatever reason. But soon afterwards it did. These things im guessing always happen for the people near the end. The report system on the website does not seem to handle raising this. Wish i could get a refund really as a waste of $100.

        • Hey all, sorry to hear of the trouble, in the past we passed on feedback that these particular offers should be limited by opt-in over redemption which had been done, unsure why this one isn't the case. If you're having trouble do reach out to me via DM, happy to help out here.

          • @gotyourback: Reply from ShopBack customer service:
I understand that this can be disappointing but the challenge bonus is running in real-time and it is based on a first come first serve basis if your order was tracked after the challenge has been fully redeemed then you will not qualify for the bonus.
So whether you get the bonus depends on when your order is tracked, instead of when your order is placed. So it’s better not to expect getting the bonus if the number of remaining redemptions is less than 50 to avoid disappointment.

            • @Now: Hey mate, this is exactly why these popular challenges for Amazon or similar are typically limited by opt-in as opposed to redemption, but unfortunately looks like this one was missed, Happy to help get this sorted though, shoot me a DM with your details so I can take a look.

              • @gotyourback: Thanks for offering to help. I’ve DMed you my account details on Monday. It’s OK if you can’t do anything as this is how the Westpac bonus was set up.

    • If you opt in to the challenge and then you buy, you should get the $5. There was only a limited number of challenge spots.

      • Nah, this deal was limited to rewards not participants.

    • Same thig happened to me. I took screenshots and emailed CS. Will report back on the outcome.
