    Painful after paying $400 literally 2 weeks ago.. not sure if I can reach out and try and get anything extra out of them with it being so close. Great deal if you can make use of the night though, Sofitel we booked was over $600 minimum per night so it was a no brainer.

      Hi Cardiology, I've had success with calling some hotels direct and just asking if someone else can check in under my booking. Alternatively, I've also had success by booking it in for someone then providing them with an Accor member for a day certificate so that the hotel can't argue back that the rate is for members only.

      How I did mine was, first add Cashrewards to your Chrome extension. Then open the Accorplus link with this offer and sign up the Accorplus membership you wanted. Cashreward will send an email confirming it is tracked

    I've been a member for around 10 months and just finished a 3 week holiday - Singapore/Vietnam/Thailand where I stayed at numerous different hotels. The Accor hotels were by far the worst hotels out of every other hotel we stayed out.

              @Thepoordad: If you have the time to shop around and research, you will with utmost certainty get better value hotels in Tokyo by staying in a non-Accor hotel. Book at Booking/Expedia with a Shopback/Cash rewards 10%+ offer.

    My 2 cents… I took advantage of a similar deal last year and used it way more than we anticipated (especially the 50% off 2 diners in Accor Restaurants). Lots of choices, particularly in Sydney and we found something decent in most cities and towns we've visited when we're in the mood for a "nice night out". So, if you plan to stay a night or two somewhere in the next year, you'll likely be ahead regardless.
