  • Anyone used the dining benefit @ Sofitel Sydney (Atelier). Would the disocunt also apply for breakfast (assuming two people for the 50% off)

    • +1

Yes, it does. As long as it's not on blackout dates

  • Is the difference between this and the Malaysian/Indonesian deal just 1 vs 2 nights (around twice the price) or is there something else we should be aware of?

    • +1

When it comes to renew your membership next year, the MY/ID renewals will be cheaper.

      • Have you renewed on the MY/ID version? Easy? Im expiring in April, would rather keep my status etc.

    • The Malaysian site had both a 1 night or 2 night option. The Malaysian membership comes with a bunch of coupons that can only be redeemed in Malaysia hotels. From memory, last time i looked the Australian one might just come with 1 free breakfast coupon?

  • When I click through it says $399. Does it get discounted after signing up?

    • Open in it in incognito and it still works

    • Did you sort it out ? Same issue for me

      • -1

I tried it on desktop and it works.

  • -4

Just wondering has anyone did this before.
Can we buy multiple memberships and use them for a few nights continuously?
Say 3 memberships for 3 nights in the same hotel, etc

    • want to know same!

    • +5

Sounds like a good way of drawing attention to yourself and possibly getting your accounts reported and suspended.

    • You'll obviously have to make separate bookings for each night and will likely have to move rooms. They'll catch on.

You might be able to get away if you have additional guests and each guest signed up for this but unlikely if alone

    • An individual cannot buy three memberships nor have any more than one type of paid membership in Accor (there are other programs). You could have one and your partner have one and then you both try and get back to back bookings in a hotel. Then you may have to move rooms. The value is not just on the free night, but in the meal discounts, the booking discounts and the status. If you stay in hotels regularly and get to Platinum, you get free breakfast and free lounge access (normally have free drinks and food) in hotels that have lounges. That's where the value is but you have to spend money to get there.

  • Is the free night only for use within Aus/NZ or worldwide ?

    • Not sure if its worldwide, but at least Asia Pacific

    • Asia only I believe.

  • Just used my free night last month and it gave me a discount of $487 off a $600 room. Great value so will sign up again.

    • Doesn’t free night mean $600 off. I thought it meant free stay for one night.

      • the free night is usually for a "base" room at the hotel. If you want an upgraded room, you have the option of paying the difference between the base and premium rooms

  • People who signed up through HK last year are unable to use their AU account to get this deal. Therefore, I wonder if using the slightly cheaper NZ deal will create the same problem a year from now…

  • Can anyone check if there's any deals in Fiji for dates 9 to 17th June?

  • Does anyone have a link to the restaurant exclusions ?

Near the bottom of the page
But just a heads up, even if the restaurant isn't listed on the exception list it doesn't mean it offers the full dining benefit listed in the post, it just means there is an offer available. Their advice is to contact any restaurant you are thinking of attending and asking what they offer.

Thanks OP. Tossing up between Explorer for AUD 199 OR Discovery for AUD 249 memberships.

  • Would it work with referal code?
Can friend & family work with referal?

  • Anyone recommend any good melbourne CBD staycation hotels? have 2 kids 7 and 3.

    • Movenpick I believe has an hour each day with free choc desserts

  • I want yo buy this deal but want to make sure i get the referral points. If i just click on go to deal, will the referral code already be in there? Thanks

      • Can you do this more than once, in case the referrer doesn’t get back to you?

      • Where can I add this referral code during the membership sign up and payment? I only got the membership number from a referee but nowhere to enter the number??

  • -1

Could they end up the deal earlier?

  • Any existing members able to check if a free night is available
at BANYAN TREE KUALA LUMPUR Malaysia on Sat 16th March? It's regular price is$351/night. Thanks so much.

          No worries mate.

  • Could anyone please see if there is anything decent available in Tokyo next week? Any night between Monday-Friday.

    • I had a quick look on Monday and Thursday. It seems only some Mercure (Mercure Yokosuka) are available for free night. Hope this helps!

      • +2

wow thank you so much, appreciate you! : )

    • +2

Fri - ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza, Mercure Tokyo Haneda Airport, Mercure Yokosuka

      • cheers thank you, much appreciated. Flying out of Haneda so Mercure @ Airport is a very good option.

        • Tokyo hotel airports are often very cheap (especially if booked in advance). Keep that in mind too. Or at least they used to be…

      • +1

you're a legend, ended up grabbing a room in Mercure Tokyo Hibiya. $450 room for $190! happy days.

Am I missing something here…I'm going through cashrewards.com.au and trying to sign up as a new member… but the price on Accor is still $399?

I can't see a way to click through from cashrewards, to get the 50% off deal AND the extra 6.5% cashrewards. I can only seem to checkout at $399 via cashrewards.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

  • Anyone who has joined and can please let me know the discounts for Mercure Tokyo Ginza, Ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza, ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza East and Mercure Tokyu Stay Osaka Namba, Swisshotel Nankai Osaka and Mercure Tokyo Station? Appreciate the help, thank you.

    • Mercure Tokyu Stay Osaka Namba is eligible for free nights (if you book enough in advance, checked 27/02 and is available)
Swisshotel Nankai Osaka (from $31 on 27/02)
Mercure Tokyo Ginza (from $21 on 27/02)

  • is this not only for family and friends of Accor and Accor Plus staff as per the TnC on the page?

    • They don’t check or really care

  • Hey, amazing peeps. Can someone with help to check on the availability of Stay Plus for Sofitel Darling Harbour (Sydney) this Nov 10th, 2024? Thanks heaps!

    • +1

No. FYI, Pullman Sydney Hyde Park has free night on 10/11/2024 (public rate: 500 EUR)

    • +1

I have found the Sofitel DH quite hard to book with stayplus. You need to book well in advance (12 months plus)

  • No35 used to have this sunday bruch I used to go to with this membership. Used to be 50% off. They have replaced it with high tea. Any other resturaunts in melbourne with 50% off?

    • Miss Mi in Movenpick

  • Thanks, just in time to book a hotel for one night!

  • To get the most out of the stay plus it says upto 450 so if i book 4 nights you would want the rooms costing 350 400 a night to get that free room benefit sterched because at 220 250 a night tou would only be saving 20 to 50 bucks ? If that makes any sense

    • Plus dining benefits if those are worth anything to you

      • Yeh the novatell perth murray street is open but its closed 2 out of the 4 days i want to go ! Is it 50% every meal lunch and dinner and even breakfast?

        • Yes all meals in my experience, but best to confirm with the specific venue

  • For those who has access, would this be a good investment if I am looking to book hotels for 2-3 weeks worth of stays in Canada/US in October?

Was thinking backpack hostels too, but looking at prices online, the 10% advertised here and the 50% off certain dates seems to be better value.

    • Not really, the dining benefit does not work in the US/Can, so its just a slight discount off hotel rates and silver accor status. I could not see any red hot hotel (50% off) deals for US/Can either.

      • All good then. Thanks for the reply.

  • +1

If anyone is considering it in Perth, from my experience Miss Mi at Novotel Murray is the only restaurant of note. Much more useful in the east coast. Good red hot deals on budget hotels and sometimes pullman bunker bay.

    • How did that go for breakfast looking at a deluxe room for 4 nights was every meal discounted the full 50%

    • Hi Mate, just wondering if you could use the free night at Pullman Bunker Bay for 2 bedroom unit without additional cost ? Or if we need to pay extra, how much is the credit worth ? Thanks

      • Bunker bay often comes through as a red hot deal ($220-$250 per night) if you book in advance. I am pretty sure you can use the free night if you book early enough. I have used my stay plus (2023 sign up), so i dont think i can check for you.

If you want bigger rooms, you can pay on top.

  • +2

Bought in NZD for AU$187 :)

  • Do you need to stay at the hotel to get the dining benefit? Or can you just go to the restaurant whenever?

    • Whenever ..

I always use the restaurants in my city

  • Uhm, where do I find my referral code? I can't seem to find it anywhere in the AccorPlus or ALL portals…

    • Yeah - Page Not Found

  • Could someone please check Fairmont Resort in Blue Mountains any weekend in November?

    • Checked for November 2-3 and Fairmot Resort Blue Mountains, MGallery is available.

  • +1

You get this membership with amex platinumif you sign up and use the points well you get it basically for free for a year, depending how you look at it. Won't be an ideal solution for everybody but another option nonetheless.

  • Can someone tell me what the ongoing discounts are like after your initial free stay. It says up to 50% off but that's a very broad range.

    • A small number of hotels do sell rooms for 50% off, usually rooms that would otherwise go empty. I've booked a couple for a last minute weekend staycation.

    • You should be able to see the current red hot rooms offers from this link
I got the movenpick in Melbourne in school holidays for over $200 cheaper for 4 nights, paid for itself and haven't even used the other benefits or free nights.

  • Hi, can anyone please check if a free night is available in Sydney on Sunday 16th June?

  • I added the membership to cart but showing me $399 for explorer instead of $199.

How do I get the 50% off?

    • Use the link here.

  • Does the $149 traveler membership include one free night stay? Why is the title stating $199 for the explorer membership only? Thanks.

    • +2

Traveler doesnt include the stay plus free night
only Explorer or Discovery membership comes with it

  • Can anyone check if there's availability Wed-Sun (21/2-25/2) next week in Hobart?

  • Can someone check if there are any Stay Plus availability in Japan on 2-3 May?

    Thanks

    • +1

There are 18 hotels in Japan with Stay Plus availability on 2 May.

      • Thanks!

  • You need to click on the 'random' referral link to send a private message to an user for the code.

  • Thanks OP, was looking at the membership for a while and jumped in now.
Can someone please confirm, for hotel bookings can I pay via gift cards on top of the discount?

    • So long as it’s a pay at property rate

    • Depends on the room booking condition
If the room rate states "online payment" then you cannot book via Accor website / app with giftcards
I did find some comments in OZB before states that you can call the hotel directly and make a booking with "accor plus rate"
then pay using Giftcard directly from the phone

  • Sorry, where can I enter the referee's membership number to get the 2,000 extra points? Can't see the box all the way to the confirm payment by credit card page.

    • Same.
      I'm stuck too.

    • Any updates @cardiology?

  • What are some good dining options in sydney ?
How does the dining discount work if you have kids?

    • Not sure about sydney, but you can search for restaurants that has Accor plus discount: https://www.accorplus.com/au/restaurants/
Do a google search to find the reviews maybe?

the dining discount works in a way that
      1 adult with 1 card = 25% off
      2 adults with 1 card = 50% off
      3 adults with 1 card = 33% off
      4 adults with 1 card = 25% off

kids don't count as "adults" as long as they order kids meal

*Note: drinks are excluded from the accor plus discounts
