Optus Samsung Galaxy A04s, 64GB Smartphone with 90Hz 6.5" Screen $149 (Was $249) @ Woolworths

270

I went to two different Woolies stores today and they both have the same price so the clearance price should be the same in most Woolies stores. It's locked to Optus so would be great if you already were using Optus / Amaysim / Dodo or any other networks who are using Optus network. It can be unlocked for $25 after 6 months, free to unlock if the cumulative recharge was more than $80.

It's great for those who are Sammy fans or just want a durable solid phone / spare phone, big battery usually means long battery life and 90Hz big 6.5" screen too.

Features:

  • 6.5" display with 90 hertz refresh rate (perfect for smooth scrolling, gaming and multi-tasking, true-to-life colours with high definition plus display technology)
  • 64GB internal storage with 4GB of Ram
  • 50MP + 2MP + 2MP triple rear camera
  • 5MP front facing camera
  • Long-lasting 5000mAh battery (15W adaptive fast charging capabilities)
  • 24 months warranty

    4GB Ram

    • Thanks, forgot to add that.

Warning: This has an Exynos 850 processor which is VERY slow. Previous comments have shared that it struggles to operate simple things like calls without lagging. The screen is also only 720 x 1600 low resolution.

  • Not 5G capable, for those that care

Surely u'd get the Motorola G54 for $220 over this? Unlocked, 8 gig ram, 128 gig rom, 5g etc etc, not even a close comparison.

    Could probably flip easy

  • Agree, Motorola is way better in performance and at lesser price

"It can be unlocked for $25 after 6 months."

Free if your cumulative recharge spend hits $80.

Unlock by sending "unlock" to 9999 before porting.

Bought myself a A04s from Kmart as my Woolies was 00S-happy with mine with my amaysim SIM in the phone and not that fussed that the A04s lacks NFC.

Picked up the Samsung Samsung Soft Clear Case for $10 at JB Hi-Fi
