And skinned! More fuking e-waste. Thought these businesses had sustainability practices :0 - why the fuk would any modern day I.T. Certifications through college or uni (completed last 5 years myself) include any units on sustainability practices or ethics if they don't exist in the real world!?!? And are implemented and practiced and… Fuk em.

      No.

It's the people that keep buying these machines which then create a so called 'demand' that an analyst determines they should continue to make and sell to Aus consumers.

Blame your OZB peers that purchase this junk hardware.

I don't see a deal here. 3 generations old laptop with inefficient, power hungry CPU.

The MX450 is ancient, and the 2gb Vram is not enough today. It was like let's put a dedicated GPU to make plebs think it can actually game. There are iGPUs that are faster than this thing.

8gb soldered RAM with no path to upgrade. 256gb SSD, where 512gb is becoming more the standard at this price point.

There are laptops for not much more with faster, more efficient CPUs and higher RAM/Storage specifications.

    • You’re paying for form factor and build. If it’s just office tasks or a school computer this is fine.

      • Based on the lack of efficiency of the 11300h, battery life isn't one of it's strong points. So if you are going to be away from power plug, you might not get day's use out of it.

Let me just point out in today market that this is the best priced touchscreen laptop that also functions as a tablet around.

The BAD… only 8Gb's of ram

    The GOOD… 14" 2.2K (2240x1400) IPS 300nits Anti-glare, 100% sRGB, Dolby Vision WOW thats awesome.

All the other $1000 touch screen laptops are only 1080P 250nits 100% sRGB

If you want the best priced touchscreen laptop for office tasks this is the one to get.
If you don't need a touchscreen there are heaps of way better options at this price.

    • Says on the specs as non touchscreen.

haha WHAT.. its a flip yoga laptop with NO touch.. OMG ahhaa 100% trash pointless what the!

        • +1

Yoga pro line doesn’t have touch by default and even if you option it with one, it doesn’t do full 360 and doesn’t support pen

  • Not worth it as can't upgrade ram

  • Sold out after less than a day, well done to everyone who picked one up
