  • Still rocking some calibre headlamps I picked up from Ozbargain deal at supercheap in 2017 for $10 a piece .
Great when working under the car , don’t know how many times I’ve found my other magnetic work lights a few days later after driving around a bit , surprisingly the head torch makes you look less stupid .

  • Nice one

    Gone down heaps!

I actually ended up getting the wurkkos hd15 last time because it was similar money , had magnetic base and also had usb c (is usb c actually such a big deal like many always make it out to be? Imo, no - I have a powerboard of various usb chargers) - At this price I’m tempted to just get this as well just to let it live permanently on my hard hard lol.

    • +5

For someone visually challenged, usb-c is much more user friendly

  • Anyone know what battery powers this? Will it be replaceable?
Be interested in what it's medium and high run times are too - doesn't look like a high capacity battery

    • It's powered by a 2600mah 18650

  • +4

So tempted, until I found out it is running on Micro USB…

    • It does say fast charge though.

      • +2

Personally, I’m just trying to buy only usb c gear moving forward so that in the future I’ll just need the one cord type in my camping kit to charge everything. Even my cheap rechargeable string lights are now usb c. Makes things so much easier!

        • wurkkos hd15 - still kinda exxy for the standard person (i am addicated to collecting torches though)

We need a support group. Perhaps meeting somewhere in a forest. Lit only with torches.

  • 20% off just disappeared for me mid checkout =[

    • Yeh, have a feeling that the extra 20% off was unintentional

    • +1

      Thanks. Have marked as expired.
      Shame you missed it.

If additional 20% was not intended then this definitely was a bargain :D

  • +1

    Price is back to $39.14.
I've reported @Jimothy Wongingtons earlier post as available again

  • Anyone else have an issue where their torch discharges over a few days of no use?
