    Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I've never bought a stand alone battery and have lots (10+) of dewalts and a few other brands. They've either come bundled or store promos or manufacturers redemptions. Of course I have spent $$ on the various tools but I justify that with the free batteries.

      Do you get the bigger batteries with bundles? All my tools tend to come with the smaller batteries. No real issue for me as it's only home use so I just keep one on charge but I'm guessing tradies don't want to be swapping batteries too often.

        It varies, I actually had too many free flexvolts and was pleased to get some nice light 4 and 5ah for drills and drivers

    Went to bunnings bayswater WA this arvo and got them to beat it.
    Paid $89.10 didn’t get charged postage. Too cheap. Ended up buying 2.

    Out of curiosity, what does the -L actually mean? I've noticed what others have already mentioned - Bunnings don't have this on theirs. Basically every other tool shop I've looked at online today does have it on their product page/s.
