Huh, didn't know there would be a difference.

        • 4 head ?

          • @jv: Just testing out Heading sizes 1 2 and 3 compared to regular paragraphs. Although in HTML it looks like the heading sizes actually correspond to <h4> <h5> and <h6>.

  • $30 here…

Although can use $5 off using ebay plus coupon on the one posted here…

Used one for $30. OP's one is brand new.

    • The Vinnie's one is sealed in box (newish) which is worth something.

Collectors wouldn't like that ebay one.

    • and also add the AU $18.00 Standard postage..lol

      • This one is AU $14.50 lol

      • It is a not for profit charity so the extra money isn't a total waste. But every penny counts on OzB.

  • Would I be able to run 2 x 1080 display from this on a M1 macbook Air? Says display link but not sure?

    • Apparently yes as DisplayLink, but will require a third-party driver to be installed https://www.macworld.com/article/675869/how-to-connect-two-o… "The most scary bit is when you need to enable “Screen Recording” to allow the DisplayLink Manager app to capture pixels and send them to your USB peripheral." It is a bit freaky to see that!

      • Thanks. Wasn't sure if all display link would do it or had to be a Dell6000 or 3100 etc

Which is situation normal for DisplayLink on MacOS.

      • Screen recording is technically correct. Set your monitor to duplicate and that's exactly what the second monitor is doing.

Unfortunately, this model doesn't do charging, would've jumped on it!

    • Exactly. Without charging, it shouldn't be called "docking station". It is merely a port replicator. First thing I check and most common reason of letting me down.

Unfortunately you are correct, how annoying. There are two almost identical models, one will charge, one won't… lame. I guess someone ordered this by accident and then donated it to vinnies when they realised they (profanity) up
