is this ok for handcarry during flight? not sure whats the limit.

    • +2

Yes below limit (which is 27000 mah)

    • +1

yeh ive carried to Japan and Kor no worries

Regarding this, be aware I recently had issues boarding a Qantas flight from Jakarta to Sydney.
Even though the battery/power pack limits is supposed to be 100Wh, which usually equates to 27000mah, the staff at Jakarta for Qantas said the limit is 20000mah, and they confiscated my battery pack. I later returned and asked to take a photo of the details on the side of the battery pack to make a complaint with Qantas, and they returned my battery pack, but said I can't take it on any future flights. Be aware that the Qantas website states 100Wh as the limit, but the staff were obviously misinformed/poorly trained,.

      SOOOO, YMMV.

        Was this at check-in?

      • +1

        This is extremely odd lol.

        1. They rarely care as they are just ground staff

        2. Did you show them ur battery pack urself?

        3. I’ve travelled a lot of places no staff ever asks this. The place where you are usually checked is at the security screening.

        • +10

Possible that they just want to keep it for themselves to use or resell.

          • +1

@MuddyRubber: Have them write an official confiscate receipt/letter see how they scram.

        • They were checking bags just before boarding. EVERYONE'S bags.

I agree, I also did not expect this type of search after already passing security.

I didn't get around to complaining to Qantas because I got the item back; the urgency was replaced by my life's other worries at the time.

I bought one of these to travel with. Got to Japan (QANTAS flight) and left it in the seat pocket. Never got to use the damn thing!!

I bought this model in January when it was on sale.

Amazon recently refunded me as this model can hardly charge my Samsung s23 ultra more than once.

    • +3

Sounds like a faulty unit. After efficiency losses (both in the power bank and the phone) you should get at least three full charges.

Did you contact INIU support? Based on comments here INIU support seems decent and replacements are easy under the 3 year warranty.

    • It wasn't as cheap but I got the UGreen one - decided very last minute before my overseas trip last month that I wanted a bigger power bank and the Inui one in this post (plus the older 20000mah one) were not next day delivery for me, but the UGreen one was

It was great though and didn't miss a beat - kept our phones charged up for 2 days when we realised on arrival that our hotel had 2 pin power points and I only brought 3 pin adapters. Man they get heavy however.

Loved the fact it fast charges itself too (similar to this one in the post)

      Inui.

      Great reviews and warranty.

The Baseus you linked is notoriously bad.

      Powérbank

      Gotta catch em all

    • Go Zyrontech support a local seller. They have sales from time to time.

  • Got one, thanks OP!

  • Review here. The TL;DR its a good power bank, but it has "rubbery coating that turns to sticky goo in 5 years"

    • +1

Worst, that is the crap thing with anything that has a rubberised coating. I've never seen them not get sticky and gross after time, even if they aren't handled that often, they just go yuck. Steer clear of that.

I purchased the INIU 25000mAh 100W back in February as a backup for my Xiaomi Zmi No.20 210W, and it has been an absolute lifesaver. On long-haul flights to Europe, it quickly charged both my laptop and my AyaNeo 2, ensuring I was always connected and entertained. The weight difference is noticeable too – at just 491g, it's much lighter than the Xiaomi, which weighs 584g, yet it doesn't compromise on performance. While it may not be the cheapest option out there, at $65, I believe it offers great value for its reliability and performance. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a dependable power bank that won't weigh you down.

    can't find code, showing $76…

    • +2

Ya duffa, it's just below the title description with a button to redeem, but it's CC2F3YV2

      • code not working, maybe because I already bought one a couple of weeks earlier!

        • Just logged in as a guest and the code is there so anyone who’s bought it before is excluded it seems

  • $76 now

  • Got mine today. It came out of the box at approx 50% charged, and with a 65W charger I was surprised to see it almost full in 45 minutes. Approx the same size as my iPhone 15 Pro but 3x the thickness.
