Hunted - Melissa George - Ep1 - iTunes Free - 2.4GB HD Download

130

Hunted the new series coming soon to SBS.

The shortest cancelled show in history, cancelled by BBC1, then picked up by HBO.

Starring the ex-Australian Melissa George, star of Home and Away and some bit parts on US TV, and some films, who is now unloved by all Australians, and pillared at every night following her recent appearance on morning TV. (this is the opinion of the author and has no basis in truth or fact)

Link might be wrong, but it’s on the itunes homepage. Not sure how long it will be free for.

Enjoy it or not – I don’t care (again the authors opinion)

  • It looks like the series has been saved although no doubt plenty of us who were indifferent before will prob avoid anything she is in due to her bad attitude… She'll probably bad mouth this show in 10 years time too ;-)

    • err she was in it 16-19yrs ago….
I actually enjoy watching her, she was excellent in The Slap and all those years ago in Alias.

      • she could be great, but the stuff I read and saw about in recent interviews here and overseas has now unfortunatly clouded my opinion of her. Ironically like Eric Bana and Chopper (google it)

        • What should I be googling?
I googled "Eric Bana and Chopper" and there are myriad results of reviews and wiki/imdb type entries.
I'm not sure exactly what I should be looking for.

  • Isn't the shortest cancelled show the casino musical with High Jackman?

Or the sci-fi with Simon Baker??

    • Was those programs picked up again by another station? I thought they were just canned after a episode or two never to be seen the light of day again.

I believe the show was co-produced between the BBC and an American network. I believe the only thing that has changed is that the American network is going ahead with producing the second season on their own.

    • Sorry, it was cancelled, and picked up. HBO may have been part of the original development, but BBC1 had had enough of the poor ratings.
Had to rush as the page kept closing on me for some reason when I scrolled the page. So did it in one hit and posted, and was probab;y not as clear as I should've been.

    • The point is that it was cancelled for a short amount of time.

  • the question is….is it any good?

    • it's ok. I watched a few episodes, but it didn't really drag me in enough to keep watching instead of the various other TV shows I'm watching (Arrow, Supernatural, Elementary, Last Resort, Fresh Meat, New Girl, Revolution, Haven, Castle, Misfits, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, Once Upon A time, Grimm, Merlin). I only watch 1 or 2 shows a night.

      • Kudos… that's quite a list

      • Where is Awkward on the list??!

    • I've only watched ep 1 and yeah. It's not bad.

    • There are too many good shows to watch to waste time with one starring Melissa George ie. FOREVER ANGEL FROM HOME & AWAY.

Who's watched Grimm - any good?

How on earth is it 2.4GB? A 2 hour episode?

    • Maybe it's 1080p? 2.4GB isn't that big. High quality h.264 episodes are often around 2.2GB even for 720p

  • She came off like a total moron in her rant last week. Piss off back to Paris or New York with your millionaire husband if that's your attitude I say.

BTW I haven't seen this show but if you are watching it before any of The Wire, The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Homicide, Boardwalk Empire, Homeland, etc you are likely to have your priorities wrong!

GoT aside, what is with the crime obsession there? All decent shows, but I get sick of all the cops-n-robbers stuff from the US.

      • I'm not necessarily a crime fan usually but you have to say it lends itself well to long form story telling. You need some sort of plot vehicle that allows for characters (and in particular) major ones to be killed off fairly regularly and that's what crime delivers.

GoT does the same thing but in a fantasy setting.

The other fantasy shows on TV are in general, not good. Hopefully American Gods changes this when and if it eventually makes it to HBO.

I never saw Neighbours, but she was great in The Slap.
Does she get her tits out in this show?

    • If it is her, then don't miss the first minute.

    • +1

      See the movie Dark City.

    • +2

Not sure if she saw neighbours either.
I think she was busy filming Home and away at the time.

Who cares what she said, it's a good show!

  • Ha ha, my Apple TV didn't like it when I bought it, had to restart it by pulling the plug out.

  • Cheers OP :-)

I will be too busy drinking my $1 Hungry Jacks coffee (95 cents after PayWave) and giving my dog his free Smacko sample to have time to watch this show.

Its not a bad show at all. A bit of a mixed Alias/24/Covert Affairs kind of feel going on I think. Watched it online up to about the 4th episode and yeah I want to watch it more so it can't be too bad.

  • Melissa George…….YUK!

    MG = Douchenozzle

  • Why is she so unloved all of a sudden? Or has she always been unloved? Sorry I haven't really kept up.

    • Read comments above…

Maybe she should be hunted, and sent back overseas for good. I don't care how good or successful you get, if you don't want to acknowledge the shows and country that got you to where you are, you're a spoilt, disrespectful moron!

    • +1

Yes, she obviously needs to acknowledge the small town mentality (Channel 7 & OzB?) that can't see beyond something she did 2 decades ago.

  • ex-Australian? What is she now?

    • +1

      a moron
