    15" retina here i come.
    $2499 price match dick $2249.1
    spend $2100 to buy $2310 gift card.
    4498 myer one point give me $40 gift card.
    $2310-$2249.1+$40=$100.1 gift card left
    next month go oversea.
    gst 2249.1/11=204.46
    2100-204.46=1895
    so total spend 1895 for a 15" retina and $100 gift card

          Just price matched a MacBook Air with DSE's 10% off at Myer Chadstone without any issue. They did call up DSE to check stock. Almost 20% off! Too happy!!!

          That's so good! I went back today and spoke to someone else but again they wouldn't price match dick smith as it's below cost. They did do about $60 above DSE price but with the gift cards it's still 16% off vs 10%. I'm happy with that.

      Don't forget there's a $900 limit on the GST Refund Scheme. Spend, or foolishly claim, more than that on the way back into Australia, and you're paying GST on the whole lot.

      We just purchased the exact same model today!

      We aren't going overseas unfortunately. But getting the 15" Retina at $1,999.10 was a steal.

      Pretty much just paid $100 more over the 13" model (from the AppleStore) for:
      - Quadcore over Dual Core
      - Double the HDD Storage
      - Dedicated GPU and more!

      Yes you can.
      Just purchase Coles Myer Group giftcard from Coles with ING PayWave in $99.95 lots.
      And then use the Coles Myer Group giftcard to purchase Myer giftcard to get the 10% bonus giftcard.

    Can these be used combined?

    eg $10 for every $100 for gift card then use that gift card for $20 off every $100 for a TV?
    Effectively $30 off $100 or some number around that when dealing with rounding and percentages.

      Definitely with Wish Giftcards you can (just did it). I bought some BigW giftcards through Qantas FF as they cost less points. I then bought a Woolies group giftcard with that.

      Pretty sure you can do the same with Coles group.

    This is how i got my macbook air about 1.5years ago.
    Bought $1300 of vouchers. Got $130 free.
    Then went to mac section and asked them to do 10% off as everyone else does.
    He did. I then paid with the vouchers.
    Also got $125 worth of vouchers to spend on clothes. (didn't even know about that)

    Read about the idea on Ozbargain! :)

      For the iPad 3 (64GB Wi-Fi/3G) earlier in the year:

    Just got my macbook pro, bought $1700 of gift cards (using my girlfriend as the second customer to get over the $1000 per customer limit)! I also realised that using myer one you get enough points to basically get a $40 gift card. So a total savings of $210, damn good deal!!!

    I went to myer sydney cbd today ask for price match 10% off from dicksmith of the macbook air 13" . Together with myer gift card . Instead of paying $1349 from Apple i only pay $1115 for the Air a saving of $244 thanks OP

    I asked today at Myer, no MyerOne points for gift card purchases. Only on actual goods (and services), so no double dipping applies.

      I think they changed this in the last year. Apparently you earn points on the purchase of gift cards as well.

    Plus one this for picking up a juicer and some cosmetics for my wife cheaper than elsewhere.

    Even bigger plus for picking up a Samsung TV at a great price from JB.
    Myer would price match to a store for $3499 for the UA60ES8000 (series 8 60") and I told JB they about the gift card promo and they agreed to price match down to $3149 which I think is a pretty good price for this TV.
