      Just bought a JBL dock half price of what it was yesterday (JBL HMH566 On Stage IIIP iPhone/iPod Speaker Dock) for $47. It looks like the discount has now been applied to all of the JBL and Logitech docks.

          All the Yammy receiver prices are jacked. The RXV473 shows as $337.12 until it's selected. Much weirdness going on.

      The $200.20 one says 100w then you add it to kart and it adds the 500w for $264.56

      looks like they have the same model number and it should be different?

    I'm looking at buying a higher-end Yamaha amp.

    My requirement is that it has airplay and has 2-zone capability.

    I'm looking at the receiver on JB, (http://www.jbhifi.com.au/jb-hi-fi-home-audio/receiver/yamaha…) but its price isn't particularly competitive. RRP is $1099 and their discount is $764… but I think that's what they normally charge.

    I was looking at this amp too (http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/home%20theatre/amps-receivers…). It is much cheaper, at $598, with the same RRP, has a better spec, but doesn't seem to have airplay.

    Anyone have an opinion on this? I'm constrained to keep using airplay, before anyone asks. ;)

      Replying to my own post, now I note that adding the $598 model (HTR-6064) comes up in checkout as $418. BARGAIN!

      The difference seems to be that the HTR-6064 doesn't have zone nor have wired network connectivity.

      Also, I think the JB guys must be online modifying the pricing manually, as this seems to be happening on a few amps now…

    I just bought the Yamaha HTR6065 for $418.60 pickup. Did a bit of searching this model number but nothing comes up. Spoke to Yamaha and they reckon its actually the same as the RXV673 which is awesome! Its badged that way as it should be part of a HTIB setup. Will pickup tonight and confirm…if true, then $418 for a rxv673 is the best deal on any of those receivers. They confirmed it has networking and Zone 2.

      Went in to a JB store to check this amp out and when we looked at the price on the website at the store - it showed $293.02.

      Salesman was kinda stunned, but checked with management and I got the all clear at that price

      Wohoo!

      Grabbed it immediately!

      What has happened is that the first page we looked at took 30% off the 418.60 and hence the 293.02

      Yep, I just got back from buying one as well. Its identical. As per colvs post above, it is apparently intended for the NZ market. There is no yamaha spec page for it at all, but it is similar to the HTR6064 which didn't have airplay - but this one does!

      I pulled it out of the box instore, and it has zone 2, airplay, networking, 6 HDMI… it's the real deal!

      For less than $500 I got it with a 5 year warranty! Bargain of the century for this great AMP!

      Edit - optusfail - OMG, that's an even better price!!! well done!!!!

      I just picked up a HTR-6065 for $418.60 A quick skim of the included CD manual seems to match the JB HiFi listing inc AirPlay and 4K passthrough.

      Yes, please wait if you don't need one now. I went to JB and DSE stores just a few hours ago and not many people were buying things. Stores were almost empty except the staff. Times are tough for most people and clearly the people are not spending. So even more bigger bargains are on the way and please check ozbargain everyday hahaha.     On the last sale I got the cadence sub and amp pack(18th nov). I paid $205 it's now $177. So today I called up and asked if they had a price promise policy or garentee, I was not expecting anything but thought to give it a shot after reading a few people on this had done it and I needed a second lightning USB cable anyway. to my delight Werribee JB Hi Fi the sales staff in car audio said that it was a bit of a price difference and I should come in so they can sort something out. So I went down there and there was no one even working in car sound, after asking someone else I was told the guy that works there finished at 5 even though I called at 5:15 which was very odd. After dealing with someone else who said they will confirm with the manager but to issue a refund (implying that it would be alright) I was given the excuse that I did not have the recept on me, when I said the guy on the phone told me they can do a re-print which he did when I said I did not have it on me, just a puoto of it, they then said they don't even have that a price promise policy they would honed it if it was a day or 2 but not 2 weeks. They then went on to say that the guy on the phone never said they would give a refund, I said well what does 'sort it out mean?' It must mean some kind of resolution not just to say no, and make me come down here for nothing. That's when I asked to talk to the manager who apologised but refused to do anything, saying the staff member was mis-informed, I told him I was more insulted that his other staff tried to imply that when the guy said to come down to sort it out he didn't mean they would do anything, I said you need to brief your staff on your policies because now I just wasted an hour and drove out of my way for nothing. And stormed out, just thought I'de give a heads up to people on this, not to go out their way when it comes to something like this cause they will probably waist your time.

    I actually couldn't be happier with the sub, but it was damaged on the side from factory (some kind of factory friction rubbing that's worn the felt back on. I was so keen to get it in and where it is mounted you can't actually see it, but it is still not a perfect product either.

        Holy moly good prices for sure but it's only the standard edition and jb is the lost expedition edition which makes all the difference to me. Plus the fact that I can pick up in store is always a plus in my book!
