  • hmmm….
this would fits the old CRT TV in my parent's bed room.

they refuse to throw it away
I nagged them but they told me "….son, we don't want you to waste money buying a new TV"

They probably play Time Crisis when your not looking.

  • Is this a good deal ? Has anyone tried this pvr before ?

  • Anyone know can I record from analogue to this thang?

    • +1

      LOL!

      • dont think it has a input.. I really wouldn't think it can record from another source other than its own internal DVT-T card.

        • I thought as much :(

Oh well thanks for the reply.

      • Why Lol?

        • Digital video recorders with analogue to digital video conversion cost a lot more than the most basic $25 Set Top Box with "PVR features" sold from an outlet called 2nds World!!
Ive used a better Olin PVR that struggled to even record digital TV.

        • Cool… do you have any ideas where I could find a cheap one then?

  • Alot of set top boxes and modern tv's have record features to USB storage. Why not go for the WD TV Live Streaming box.. for $49 (with cashback) http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/86892

Probably great if you have a TV without digital tuner though. HD real bonus though.

  • Wd tv can do pvr ???

    • Nope its only a media player, but alot of new tv's have PVR built in.. I never use PVR feature I find it more usual just to focus on the media player aspect.

  • Good find currently $59.44 at ow.

  • just as an FYI we don't have any more but can offer the HVBTR4880 at the same price $25:
