110

Just received by e-mail. Various SanDisk SSD & memory devices. Next day free shipping.

SSD's
120Gb - $95
240Gb - $175
480Gb - $375

Prices not quite as good as the ones offered at end of Oct, but shipping included, so possibly a better deal for those who have to pay higher freight charges…

Edit: Prices on website after click through don't seem to be updated to match prices on promo page. SE Rep??

Edit 2: Looks like the website prices match the promo now…

    • Possibly!

Mods: Please feel free to delete if this is considered a dupe. I checked before posting, but didn't find the deal that @Gav points to…

    • +2

Not a dupe. Gav's link is for the Samsung SSD sale. This is Sandisk stuff.

The price (and free shipping) advertised on the front page does NOT carry through to the shopping cart. Will wait until the site is fixed before ordering.

      • Ahh yes, apologies. Didn't notice at first.

        • No need to apologise, the Samsung SSD sale looks pretty good too!

(FWIW, I'm not affiliated to SE in any way).

  • These prices are $1 cheaper than MSY. MSY actually has the 480GB $6 cheaper than this.

    • If considering the 480Gb, it's probably a far better idea to pay $4 more and get the Samsung from yesterday's deal (Gav linked to it) which I'm to understand would be more reliable. Also it has an extra ~30Gb of space ;)

      • Went up already. $429 now.

Also, Sandisk are faster (one of the fastest actually). Haven't heard of any widespread complaints about Sandisk reliability yet. Feedback has been good.

Personally, I'm partial to Intel. I got a 180GB and I love the speed. I don't think it's the fastest but it's good enough for me. In terms of reliability however, it's still #1.

        • Still showing $375 for the 480Gb SSD for me: http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/sandisk-extreme-2.5-in…

Original email said prices valid through 9 Dec - so my assumption is that means midnight Sydney time…

        • Still showing $375 for the 480Gb SSD for me

I was referring about the Samsung SSD he's referring to from yesterday's deal. The one he says he'd rather pay $4 more for.

        • Ah - all clear now :-)

Looks like these (SanDisk) prices have gone back up now - although the 480Gb SSD is still $375: "Normal" price?
