  I tried the product that is for glass / car windshield and whilst it made the water bead nicely, when the wipers were wiping, a film was developing that wipers were smearing all over and was quite bad for a while, took few months to wear off.

      Thanks for the tip, I can try go with less, just worried as honestly the smearing effect was far from great during rain so bit hesitant.

  Bought this a week or two ago from Repco at a higher price. applied two layers / coatings to all car windows, works as advised, didn't have the streaking problems reported above either.
