8000 Bonus Everyday Rewards Points with Purchase of a New Car Insurance Policy @ Everyday Insurance (Online Only)

80

Was looking at insurance from woolies. A side panel showed up at the right-hand side of the screen saying I would also get 8k points if I accepted the quote. Linked to the t&c page.

The quote almost doubled my current AusPost premium, btw. YMMV.

You get 10% off groceries once a month that is separate from the 10% off from Everyday Extra. Could still work out better for some as it applies to 3rd party insurance too.

That's right, I just added to the description :)

    Wow. Used to be 20k!

    • I think that only worked on comprehensive.

Cant you still get 24000 points? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/843451

    • I just tried with the promo code to do a quote, it looks like this might be on top of the 24k. Neither promo says anything about being unavailable in conjunction with any other promos. The 24k one locks you in for 12 months though, this one is ~75 days.

Even with 32k points ($160 in Everyday Dollars), my comprehensive quote is 1.6k (1.3k with 10k DLPL). Equivalent Bingle renewal < $900 :/

        • Yeah I don’t see myself signing up either, but it can vary a fair bit depending on location and the situation of the car. I mean they must be good for some people in order to stay in business? Can’t imagine Woolies running the business solely for tax reasons.

  • as a former EDI customer if you move to another insururer and cancel with EDI at end of policy watch them closely. I cancelled, got conformation from them yet they still attenpted to charge my (cancelled) credit card twice, the second time was after i contacted them to tell them i have already cancelled with them and they should not have attempted to process payment.

  • Wow their quote was way higher than the competition

  • I agree with others the insurance quote is way higher than my NRMA

  • Shame about the higher quote than suncorp I have.

    Otherwise free points!

  • Way higher than its competitors. For a BMW x5, the comprehensive quote's around $6,500, while AAMI only charges $1,700 ish.
