any reason to get this instead of the alienware? afaik dell offers better burn in warranty.

  • oled 🤑

comes with remote and Tizen OS so stream apps like netflix and prime.

    Ahh black friday soon.
    Any bad reviews for this?

Can a 4080 GPU handle this monitor? thinking about getting this, I have a IPS LG 2K 34' inch curve one. would be nice to upgrade to this for future proof.

This is the same resolution as your current monitor. Just check the frame rates you get at the moment.

There's no such thing as future proofing your monitor though, the tech is moving quickly and OLED especially is rapidly dropping in price. If you buy, buy for today not 'the future'.

      • Oh sad hm

    • 4080 can handle my G9 OLED which is higher res and refresh rate just fine

  • Just got one 40% off RRP on EPP and set it up last night. Very impressive monitor.

I don't do a lot of gaming but coming from a Xiaomi 34 inch curved monitor, it's night and day.

      What is the price??

    • i see it as $1,439.20 with discount. not worth it cheaper here

      • I purchased a few weeks back at $1079.

apparently this is not the 3rd gen panel? why not get the alienware?

    • What alienware?

  • -1

That's quite small (pixel size comparable to a 20" FHD) for $1200.

  • Anyone used this with a m1 macbook pro or any macbook?

    • +1

It's pretty hit and miss for me. I tried to used it with 14" m1 pro and a 16" m1 max and most of the time the resolution is incorrect, the monitor just refuses to show any res higher than FHD. I switched a few thunderbolt cables but no luck. The same laptops and cables work flawlessly with my dell 4k monitor.

Hdmi cable works fine, but kinda defeat the purpose lol.
