need 16" OLED.. but everything is $2000 plus

    • Why the need for OLED? Besides it being a nice looking screen?

If you use your machine mostly plugged in and with external monitors, This is a better value : https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/873328

lenovo forces displaylink on you for docks have to buy theirs for support to even talk to you.
can not use e-gpu via thunderbolt even after saying they do.
    Stopped working after an update.

Bad quality bulk bought soldered hardware buy something better if you can.
Ports also become loose will break easily.

I wish i had known all this before buying this crap yoga i am typing on.

    • Are all yogas same or you had a bad pick of the lot?

I contacted Lenovo support, only to hear they’ll keep my laptop hostage for 20-30 days. Their “solution”? Backup my data and, oh, buy a Lenovo dock for 350 before we will even accept thunderbolt as broken. Genius support!

At this point, I’d rather let the laptop die of use and eventual neglect
—it’s my daily work laptop anyway and i hate having to use it.

Oh and i forgot to mention this screen is really bad in the sun at max brightness all u see are reflections of your surroundings atleast if they could make those darker i can call it a bad sunny day mirror.

Also the construction is flimsy one time a number key was pressed and it would just not come out of its fit of 0 i had to give it a restart and a thump. These things sure are built to withstand owners frustrated thumps on the body.

Unlike MacBooks, Windows laptops seem to evaporate their value the moment you open the box.

if anyone knows of a windows laptop that can hold some resale value i'd like to hear about it.

Change colour to Storm Grey, add Fingerprint Reader - save $10

    • I tried that but the price goes by around $200 for some reason when you change the colour from Tidal Teal to Storm Grey.

      • +1

I think that works on non education Lenovo site, which doesn't take the discount code. When you change the colour in the Edu site, the price updated to non edu price for that colour.

        • Gotta be price/website error. I'm sure it can be resolved via chat as it definitely says "Storm Grey -$30.00"

  • Ordered one, thank you OP!
Wanted a well priced 14" foldable 2-in-1, with good a CPU and high refresh rate OLED.

  • Code no longer works.

  • Cheaper via non-edu store + 13% cashback.

    • Yep didn't pull my trigger when cashback capped at $250

    • Cashback won’t work on non education stores
