Exetel is offering a Back to School sale.

Here’s what you get:

  • Unlimited data.
  • Five Speed Boosts per month (not available on the 25/10 plan).
  • No lock-in contract, but you must provide 30 days’ notice.

You’ll be considered a new customer if you haven’t been with them for six months.

I currently use Exetel and am very satisfied with their service. I consistently get 105 Mbps on my 100/40 plan.

  • Hello experienced NBN users! Looking to switch from SL to an NBN 100/20 plan, which one is the more reliable in speed and connection of these 3? Exetel, Mate or Tangerine? I really appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you!

  • Signed through TCB weeks ago, but not able to get the order tracked.

  • Just churned from Leaptel to Exetel. Took about 15mins to switch over after signing up. No TopCashback tracking yet but it says it will take 7 days.

The usage summary from Exetel was showing 21 days left with 0 data usage when I logged in, 20 mins later it says I have 27 days left for my first month. I'll check again tomorrow, hope it can sort itself out.

  • and existing customers get nothing for their loyalty

  • Thanks OP, cashback tracked instantly

  • +1

Just realised the deal ends today so quickly signed up just a moment ago. Transferring from leaptel, I hope TCB tracks properly.
Edit: tracked in less than 5mins - Thanks TCB

Looks like the Back to school sale has been extended to 31 March as per this article from lifehacker

    • I noticed Exetel updated their plan page afew hours ago and took off the “ends 3 March” and have no date on there.

If anyone is having issue with Google reCAPTCHA bot protection everytime you do a Google Search, call Exetel tech support and ask to be take off CGNAT. It's a very easy process and it's free.

    • No wonder this was happening and I was not sure what's going on. Gonna get it fixed today. Thanks man.

  • It is so weird that I can'tam unable to find my address from their system, which means I am unable to sign up online via TCB…

  • I have experienced latency issues with Exetel. Delayed packets almost exactly every 40 seconds, just for a fraction of a second. Occurring between their gateway first external hop. Support was hopeless. Changed provider and issue resolved. Melbourne based.

  • We're with vodafone with a NetComm NL20 modem. Has anyone had any luck moving to Exetel with that type of modem? Not sure the 170 for a new modem makes it worth it otherwise…

  • Just got declined. Anyone else experienced this? Explanation doesn't mean a lot. "Your Application for Service has been declined as we have detected what might be attempts at misrepresentation to obtain goods and services.
Your application details were matched by our reporting agency to previously declined applications within the Superloop Group of Companies."

  • Signed up and received an email stating my service is active, but when I check with my previous provider, it still says active with them too.

What's the best way to actually verify?

    • Call your previous provider to confirm Exetel have taken over the correct port
