  • does it fit nexus 7 ?

    • Dimensions 211.0 x 130.5 x 3.0mm

    • Nexus 7: Dimensions 198.5×120×10.56 mm (7.81×4.7×0.416 in)
      Tab 7.7 196.7x130x7.9 mm

do you think it would work for the nexus 7 ok?

I have both the Nexus 7 and this pouch. It fits the Nexus 7 well. The height is almost exactly the same but the Nexus 7 is not as wide as Tab 7.7 so you'll actually be left with some room (not a lot). To get a rough idea, there's room enough to put a pen/stylus/coiled-up charging cable after the Nexus 7 is all the way in. Hope that helps.

        • Thanks, ordered one.

  • You read my mind, Thanks Davo !

Since getting my S3, my 7.7 hardly sees any more use unfortunately!

    • Same here. Since getting my GN2, my 7.7 is now sadly abandoned.

    • Surprise to know that. I thought a smart phone owner would use it for on the go and use a tablet at home. I hardly used my GT 7.7 as well until it was upgraded to ICS.

  • not related to the post but how about this for a deal? :)

  • Ordered one in the hope that it fits the Toshiba AT270 which shares the same screen as the Samsung 7.7, cases for the Toshiba are rarer than rocking horse sh*t or cost a small fortune for an official one if they are in stock. Fingers crossed.

    • I'm so tempted to get one of those AT270's… they look like a really nice tablet.

I just wish the bootloader wasn't locked, I'm scared it will be out of date in a few months with no custom roms available to keep up with the latest versions of android.

Yeah I can vouch for the AT270, quality tablet. The neoprene Belkin zip case for the iPad mini fits like a glove on the AT270. You can get one from jb for $20. But bigw had a sale so I got it for $14.

        • Well sadly this case does not fit my AT270, even though it shares the same size screen as the Samsung. Bugger. So still on the lookout for a suitable case and will be trying to shift this one on Ebay in the near future. Still very happy with my AT270 though.

  • Thanks OP, trying to buy one, getting stuck on payment section where nothing comes up??

Changed default address and the payment options came up. Disregard.

Thanks Hoff - I've had this tablet for ages and it's really hard to find a cover for it. Also got the dock as well.

    • +1

The dock is essential for quicker charging but I really don't get why it is the case. I'm using the same charging cable from power point to tablet that I use from power point to dock. Yet the dock charges the tablet twice as fast if not faster which doesn't make sense because I'm using the same charging cable.

  • For those struggling for find a case or folio for your tablet, lookup ebay.com (not ebay.com.au). You will be more likely to find what you are looking for from the HK or UK sellers. Surprisingly only took mine about a week to arrive at my door step.

  • Was going to order this based on the official Sammy description of it being 'leather'. But I dug deeper and found this Samsung webpage that says it's PU Leather. Meaning it's synthetic.

    http://www.samsung.com/hk_en/consumer/mobile/mobile-phones/a…

    • are companies allowed to advertise synthetic leather looking materials as 'Leather'? if that is allowed then how can one be sure that an item advertised as 'leather' is animal skin?

  • Tried to order and Paypal rejects my order.. Any ideas. I am using an ipad to order.
