Details:

If you are a property investor, home buyer, upgrader, flipper, property professional or all of the above :-) then you need this tool. It finds the best properties for sale based on their land value. If a property is selling for $800k but has $1M in Land Value, this is potentially a great investment. It means upgrading the property, renovating it, splitting the block or buying to hold are more likely to give you good growth than a property with poor land value. You can get a head start and in 5-10 years time you could be a lot richer for the same amount of effort in property investing!

If you are property professional, e.g. a buyers agent or mortgage broker this could be a great addition to the advice you offer.

Surrrrre….. You can get land values for properties free online but it is a royal hassle. You need to get the address one at a time from Domain/RealEstate, enter it into a fiddly government form to get an ID, put that ID in another form to get the details out, pull out your calculator, and figure out the value, then repeat 100 or 1000 times. We've done all that for you 10,000+ times a week so you can simply search your suburb and state and get answers right away.

Try now for your suburb

Try it now - https://landvalue.au/ and enter your suburb or postcode!

Hmmm… I need to still hand over credit card details? I really don't like it when you still need to submit that for a trial.

You do, but you can unsubscribe at any time. We do this to avoid having lots of bots or scrapers sign up, a problem we have had in the past.

CC details are stored securely in Stripe, not our system. We don't have access to them.

So what's the diff between the land value nsw tool or the property value search on realestate or domain?

    • In a word: Speed!

Using the government tools is too slow to do research unless you have hours.

      For Land Value

With Landvalue.au, you can search addresses. E.g. enter you address here for the land value: https://landvalue.au/search-address/

With NSW etc. you have to search address -> get code -> search code -> pick property

      For Deals

With Landvalue.au, just search your postcode on the main page.

With Domain & NSW, you would have to search your postcode, then for each property of 100-200, go to NSW and search address -> get code -> search code -> pick property. Then you still need a spreadsheet to process that data. And that is just one postcode.

  • What are the steps and government links to the fiddly way so I can compare the hassle vs the convenience?

  • Error code 524 link: https://landvalue.au/search/nsw/

Seems like your typical free sign up offer with credit card details to hopefully catch some people out who forget to unsubscribe.

And last post it was free for 3 months & only received 15 upvotes so not sure how this would be considered a bargain for one month.

Note to all - the land value is computer generated and not based on a site inspection. Government land values are generally below market value and don’t take into account views, state of adjoining properties, etc, etc. They are not accepted for stamp duty calculation for the sale or gifting of vacant land.

    However, a good guide nonetheless.

    Agreed in full or partially?

    • Good to know the tool exists

Doesn’t the government do this for free. My parents got a land value report just last week

  • I'd take up this offer if it was for 3 months like last time. Reason why is I don't need the tool just yet.
