Thanks OP, bought 2…
Then I woke up from the dream and realised all my money is going to rent and groceries 🥲
Hey looks like we had the same dream :P
help me, step-bro i'm stuck in the same step-dream
already OOS ..
Was it even worth it?
right? msrp USD$1000, + 10% GST ~USD$1100. This is ~USD$1350. People rushing to pay inflated prices.
Not worth for gaming, but if u can earn$$from it
Isn't that the same link that OP posted except with some strange tracking IDs included?
Oh, when I clicked the op link it said out of stock. When i searched for it, it was available.
affiliate link?
2 generations later and we're still at pandemic pricing levels. Ridiculous.
People pay, companies charge. People no pay, price goes back to $600 where a mid level Graphics Card should be. Too many rich people in the world now so keep up.
"rich people". More like too many crypto bros then too many sheep chasing the AI boom.
end of the day they have to be rich. their hobbies don't matter.
at this rate they can 10x the prices and people will still line up to buy them..
Thats what they do with their datacentre cards
Isn't the AMD RX9070XT faster than this card at around $1200?
Not generally faster. 9070 XT is on average slightly slower than a 5070 Ti.
If Nvidia released the 5080 and it was 20% slower than the 9070XT and charged 30% more, nobody would buy the AMD card even if it was 20% faster. The AMD card HAS to be close in perforamce but priced significantly less to sell. I have no idea why this happens.
Raytracing performance, CUDA, and NVENC encoder is worth about 10% more in price for me personally.
Great.. In that case AMD is still better value.
Honestly, NVIDIA drivers have always just worked (yeah ok let's not count the odd duck move, such as gimping mining)
Amd… With tweaking and updating they get over some of their issues. But I'm not a uni student any more, I don't have time for that, it's not worth it.
Except for the 50 series drivers, right? Black screens and multiple hotfix releases to address it.
@goodwillN1: That's a shame. Wouldn't know, haven't gamed in ages due to life so I'm always running old drivers. Never had an issue until the crypto gimping
The only issue I ever had with NVIDIA really was hardware memory failure causing visual glitches
Definitely not faster but better value especially if you are waiting for the next generation like me. Im waiting for 24gb and will either get the 4090 or the 6080 if it has 24gb.
Not but 9070Xt can reach 5080 performance in some games, but mostly ties the 5070Ti while being cheaper than both
lol, pricing is still ridiculous
If I didn't nab one of those Techfast launch deals I would absolutely go with AMD. Prices are brutal.
2grand, i am expecting 32G my G.
If I add one more fan to my RTX card will become any faster :P
NVIDIA is pissing and people are lining up to drink that.
Really want one but still too expensive! Unless you have some discounted Amazon GC to spend.
No wonder people are console gaming. $1400 was bad enough for my 3080. I refuse to go higher.
Yeah I paid $1350 for my RX6800XT and I said never again….
How do people's significant others not crusify them for spending this much on a graphics card? The prices are insane. Console image quality is good enough for me!
If this happens, it would be awesome - https://videocardz.com/newz/msi-again-teases-geforce-rtx-508…
20 to 24GB is the right amount of memory for a card this caliber. 16GB at best is for the 70 series.
Best price so far I think.
Have heard people spending $2700+ for a 5080.
So rich ….
If no one buys prices will come down
I don't care if these are $100,000 below RRP, $2k+ for an xx80 card is insane
and OOS so shows how many insane people there are
Amazon UK not Amazon AU
