Use coupon code and also combine with Aliexpress Topcashback at 19% to nab it at ~A$99.00 Del.

Just 2-4% slower on average than the N150 Mini PC's. Some tests even show instances of the N100 being faster than the N150 which is bizarre.

Great as a cheap low power Plex / Jellyfin server.

Also suitable to use as a full desktop computer for poor people, will comfortably handle the Interweb web pages, Youtube video type websites and also MS Office. Not as fast as an Apple Mac Mini M4 Pro Computer but $1900 cheaper. Unfortunately it won't play Crysis well but baby mobile phone games will work.

Checking out in USD with an Exchange Fee free credit card will be a few dollars cheaper than the above prices for even more savings.

Perfect for running LibreELEC. Just add a cheap Xbox TV Tuner, air mouse remote and external drives (if needed).

  • Would this be good to run home assistant?

    • overkill but yes - install proxmox then home assistant on top as a container or a VM.

      • Seems much stronger than a Raspberry Pi but this is cheaper?
Is the trade off the power draw?

bought one of these for my folks.. they were rocking an old core2 duo. this is perfect for windows 11, some old people web browsing and email.

  • RAM upgradable? edited

    • RAM replaceable or soldered?

    • reemplazable

    • yes looks at photos

  • Remember, when determining how much slower than another CPU is, look at the passmark individual cpu graph eg:

    https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel%20N100
look at "CPU Mark Distribution for Intel N100"

Compare the histograms for the cpus you want to compare.
If the chip is on a laptop, stick to the left
if you're on a tiny pc look to the right.
if you're on a tiny pc with lotsa cooling, look more to the right.

  • Doesn't work for me. Goes to page, only option is Buy Now. Then it says unable to ship to you region….

    • same problem I'm chatting to aliexpress agent now as it was deliverable to australia earlier (thought it was my account but obviously generic issue)

      UPDATE

they have maxed out orders for delivery to Aus / with their logistics co so I doubt this will be available again today while the sale is on unfortunately (my guess is the other items are but at a higher price)

there are a few more available now, just got one

So for some reason I woke up at 3AM, looked at Ozbargain, saw this deal and purchased one since it's sub $100. In reality the only two things I "need" in my network are a Home Assistant box (currently on a Pi4) and I've been thinking of putting in a small NAS/DAS solution (backup family photos and documents).

Thoughts about how to do this? I think I could just run something like Openmediavault on the G3 but seems a waste to dedicate it just to one function as it'll be low usage. Could I use something like Promox and run the HA and NAS on the G3? Should I just leave the G3 as a Windows 11 machine (I actually don't have one at the moment and primarily use Chromebooks) and just use as an SMB share ?

    Ideas and thoughts greatly appreciated.

Can't believe I missed this. I saw it this morning and thought I'd have more time.

    • Same. Should've just bought it. It's cheaper than its included Windows 11 Pro licence.

true plus if you take the sodimm ram, ssd etc etc it's superb value

anyone tried getting them to send it with an AU plug / power adapter rather than EU one specified? no real issue to use an adapter though

        • +1

I tried on the contact line and they sent me pictures of a couple of the review photos showing a UK adapter and said "This is what you get" …… End of conversation.. :P

@Limbot: yeah I did actually try and they said no, suspect too much hassle with distribution warehouse or maybe they have more EU adapter ones & want to shift them
