Wow that's the lowest I've seen for this build.

  • +13

Nebula beating TechFast's prices? Nice one!

    • +3

      Without mentioning the availability

      • +3

        Or the non vague responses

  • +2

    Ordered!

Now I can have a few hours back per day from pondering which build to go for!

    • +1

Thank you for your support! 😁❀️

  • Nebula is the GOAT. I have their 5080 build, and I'm loving it so far. Great customer support and quick build times.

    • 😍😍😍 Thanks legend!

    • I've taken delivery of a new Nebula BYO GPU system in a Dan A3 case. It's lovely. Got my 3070 sitting in it for the moment, as I eye the GPU market.

      • +1

Good idea, the price/performance on the 50 series cards at current prices as well as the notable issues with cable melting on the higher end cards just screams HODL

Id wait for the 5070 Ti Super / 5080 Super

That being said, props to these guys for making builds still relatively affordable despite the current pricing of these CPUs and GPUs

  • Hey, I have seen a comment from yous on an old post stating that not all your pcs that are labelled β€œexpired β€œ are actually expired. Can you please tell me all available pc builds?
    Cheers

    • +2

All available PCs are at the bottom of the deal post 😁.

  • How do 240 AIOs compare with simliar priced air coolers these days? (I've generally avoided watercooling for less hassle)

also is that case tempered glass or an acrylic window? i can't find any info about it… does it even have case fans by default?

    • +1

AIOs (in my experience) are massive overkill compared to air coolers, not to mention way more expensive. The only reason I'd ever buy an AIO again is if I had a really small case that couldn't fit a decent air cooler in it.

      • +1

Depending on your CPU, it's not quite overkill. They are normally more expensive, but they also perform the best. I got a Liquid Freezer 3 360mm for $140. I needed 3 fans, and it comes with 3 fans. At $20 for a good fan, that means I 'paid' $80 for one of the best CPU coolers on the market.

    • -5

if you go for open built like this one you dont want air cooler , it looks shit where these look nice = they do the job and are quiet

    • +2

The MSI coolers are fantastic, work great and are relatively quiet. Panel on the side is tempered glass and yes it comes with 3 RGB fans by default.

    • +3

Aio look a bit neater and take less space inside your case
Air coolers are chunky and reliable.

If your use case is mainly gaming and you're running a ryzen 5 or 7 system (minus maybe ryzen 7xxx X3D chips) an air cooler is more than sufficient. And will not fail on you for years. Investing in a noctua d-series air cooler could be excellent choice.

If your use case is cpu intensive, or you use higher end chips ryzen 9s and x3ds, a liquid cooler could be good. Arctic freezer 3 is cheap-ish and all around well rated. Adjust the fan curve a little and you probably will never hear a thing from your cooler

    • Had my cheap 240 AIO for 2.5 years, so far so good. But yeah, cheaper good air cooler as good as 240 AIO, you may need to go to 360+ AIO for serious cooling.

  • +6

    Just give me a 9700x + 9070xt for 2k and I am all in

    • +1

I think it's impossible with the current pricing, if it were possible, I would. Need a big price drop for the GPU or CPU.

      • What about just 7700’s? can get quite cheap on aliex which should bring price down

        • +8

All our stock is local for warranty reasons, that's why we can provide the warranty and support significantly longer than our competitors you may see. If you wish to purchase overseas components, I strongly recommend building yourself.

  • Looks like a great deal for the price!

  • Anyone have experience claiming pc build on Tax Refund Scheme? Going to buy this before I go back for good

    Thanks in advance

    • I've claimed my gaming PC on Tax for the last few years, I even upgraded my GPU and claimed it on Tax. Unless you are working in a weird field then I won't know. But I can't see how any occupation won't benefit from you having a good functional PC.

      • +1

Sorry I meant Tourist Refund Scheme, my bad

        Thanks for your reply

        • can you carry it with you through security screening and onto the plane & its >$300 from the one store, then no worries

          • @MrThing: Im asking because I read this :

TRS is open to all overseas visitors and Australian residents, except for operating air crew. As you leave the country, you must wear or carry the goods as hand luggage with you to be inspected by the Australian Border Force (ABF) officers unless the goods are oversized or powders, liquids, aerosols and gels restricted to your packed luggage for security reasons.

            • @imag1ne: Which part is confusing? seems like the only issue is if you are part of the crew operating the plane?

              • @MrThing: The goods are oversized?

                • @imag1ne: Hi mate, of course you are correct you won't be able to have a whole computer in carry on and this could lead to your TRS claim being denied.

In my experience, sometimes the TRS officer asks if you're carrying it, you say yes, they don't check any further. Note I was claiming a camera, or a watch, so that might have something to do with their chill attitude.

Also, because it's >$900 they will ask if you plan on bringing the items back to Australia. If you do you'll be liable to pay the GST again. "No I plan on throwing it into the Indian Ocean" is a suitable response.

                  • +2

@R-Man: They've almost always checked to sight my items and while in line I regularly see them ask others to produce the items as well. Would not count on getting away with claiming a PC on TRS without having presented the item.

For oversized items there is a process to get them sighted before checking in.

My goods are oversized or restricted
You must have goods available for inspection by an ABF Officer. Your goods must be sighted by an officer at ABF Client Services before check-in. If your goods have not been sighted, your claim can be rejected.

                    https://www.abf.gov.au/entering-and-leaving-australia/touris…

                    • @eecan: Yeh I've claimed a watched and a couple of rings in the past and they have asked to see them as well as the invoice for verification, did get paid back in couple of days which was nice.

                    • @eecan: Thanks for that link, I had no idea!

                • @imag1ne: why not just buy the parts individually?

small and light high value items like M.2s, CPU, etc

cases, psus are cheap and big / heavy

most of the fun of a new PC is building it yourself

                  • +1

                    @MrThing: @R-Man@eecan@MrThing

                    Thanks for your answer guys

                  • +1

@MrThing: Some people might want to be shipping a PC home. Filipinos are famous for buying and checking in entire TV's.

    • Invoice vedio card differently?
I will go oversea soon too.

    • +1

From personal experience. I've done it and can give you a solid answer.
There is a TRS window just outside the airport or before the baggage drop. It might be difficult to locate but all international airports should have it. You can claim oversized goods there and proceed to check in the item in your luggage. The office might not always be open though.

However, I wouldn't recommend doing it with your checked luggage. It's just not worth it. There is so much anxiety for it to be worth your time.

If I were in your position, I'd but the expensive components, considering wherever you're headed have them more expensive. I'd pick up the cpu, gpu ram sticks, storage and maybe the motherboard. I'd newegg the case and psu or whatever is cheaper.

  • +2

Damn, literally just picked up my 5070 build from you guys and wish I had gotten this instead. Oh well, live and learn, other than that I love my build!

    • The way the GPU market is going, you could find a 5070Ti at RRP and then sell the 5070 for the same price

    • Yea I know the feeling, same thing happened to me and my 4070 build, still enjoying it thoroughly though.

  • +3

5070ti cheaper than 9070xt PC? How come is that?

    • +1

It's a very fast paced industry, pricing is always changing due to various factors.

      • Any ideia when will we have a cheaper 9070xt PC?

    • -3

because posting anything AMD on ozbargain instantly gets 100 upvotes, so why not make money off irrational customers? they are a business, after all.

9070xt is about 4070ti super price, but prebuilts priced equivalent to 4080super systems have been extremely popular.

  • Heading back home in a month, hopefully decent deals keep coming

  • +3

Congrats on a good price Nebula!

    • 😍

  • +1

Good deal if you like clear cases (I don't). I'd have to upgrade the case to a Lian Li Dan case or similar.

If I upgrade the case then this Gala deal seems similar value, and I probably prefer the Asus case.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/898270

    Gala or Nebula?

    • +2

If you opt for the Dan A3 case in black, it'll be $2,687 after the coupon. Their base model after discount is $2,749. However, we do have some ASUS A21s coming in shortly - I can add this to the builder for you. But they have a side glass panel as well.

Our PSU is also Gold rated on the default configuration instead of Bronze, and our SSD has a much faster read and write speed 😁

      • Thanks for the reply. Yes, your specs and prices are sharp! I'd be interested in the black mesh Asus Prime AP201 case, but not one with a transparent side panel. I prefer a non transparent case with front USB ports on top (unlike the Dan) as I have my case on the floor. Thanks anyway!

        • No more AP201s unfortunately, closest would be the Dan A3. Let us know if there's anything we can do for you!

  • Just bought, great build cant wait.

    • 😍😁

  • +1

    you finally got me, ffs!

    • ❀️❀️

  • Hey @Nebula PC how long is this deal lasting for? I am just waiting for some financial stuff on my end and might take advantage of the offer if its still there in a week.

    • +2

Has been super hot today, it's until we sell out.

  • Hmmmmmmmmmmmm I recently ordered the 9070 XT/7800X3D deal. I'm not sure whether I should see if I can switch to this :|

    • +1

Can if you prefer, please email us on [email protected] and we'll sort you out!

  • +1

Amazing deal. Best deal with a GPU I've seen for a long time.

  • Great price. Too bad I ordered through the last 5070 Ti deal that was posted a few weeks ago and still waiting for my rig to be sent. :0(

    • Should be going out this week if so!

      • Sounds good. Cant wait for it to arrive.

      • What's the difference between the Cinder & Ember deals, as they look very similar on paper - the Cinder seems to be a bit better but also cheaper?

  • Can I get a credit to upgrade other parts if I don't want the ssd? If yes how much credit?

    • Please email us on [email protected] if you'd like to change some parts around - we can try our best to cater for your needs. However, the system build will need to be working and inclusive of all components before despatch non negotiable. We are unable to sell without certain components as we've had extremely poor experiences in the past, unfortunately. We need to ensure the system is working 100% and stress tested adequately in our workshop before it goes out.

  • Do you send to Perth?

    • Yes, we deliver nationwide in Australia. Delivery is $50 flat rate for all addresses.

      • Thank you

  • +1

any upcoming deal on a 5080+9800x3d?

    • +1

Not at this stage unfortunetely however this industry is extremely fast paced and anything can change.

  • are you able to swap out the liquid cooler for a noctua (or other CPU cooler)? would be happy to pay the difference on this!

    • Unfortunately not, for this deal it is only liquid coolers. They ship much better than air coolers in general.

  • +2

cant believe you guys can beat tech fast price. will make order tonight. 3 years warranty also worth it

  • The BYO GPU builds seem to have an expired code. Are they on special and what code do I use?

    • +1

OZB_STRATOS_$500OFF is still live and working :). Had an issue with the formatting, has been fixed.

  • Arhhh, still running my 2070 build. I know this will be a mean upgrade for gaming in 1440. Should i do it????

    • yes go for gold.

  • +1

Insane deal. Any chance of a Fractal North (or similar) case to go with x870 mobos?

    • +2

Negative at this stage, we have the Antec Flux cases, which are quite similar. I can add them to the builder.

  • +1

    Lads!
I know a different thread.. but what do you guys think about the BYO GPU deal?

    • I bought one. It's nice. Went 7500F but switched to Dan A3 case and upgraded the mobo, so spent about $1k. It's flying along with my 3070 and I can add a new GPU when I'm ready. Note that the Dan A3 has no fans by default, so either add some to the order or plan to add some yourself.

  • -2

Have been keeping my eyes on 7800X3D+4070ti. Any plans to bring this offer back? Unfortunately, missed the previous deal.

    • +2

That GPU would be end of life now brother, no longer in production by NVIDIA. If you keep keeping your eyes on that kind of combination might need to travel back in time! πŸ˜†

  • Amateur question, I'm interested in this build with the Dan A3 case, but just wondering if it will still include stock case fans with this case?

    • Also interested in this, although the price to 'upgrade' the case to the Dan A3's is actually similar or more expensive than buying the same cases separately from places such as Scorptec.

    • +1

The A3 comes with no case fans. Unfortunately, the build time with the way the A3 is designed is significantly longer than our standard mATX cases, hence the additional cost. Margins run extremely thin, and the extra time spent on the A3s unfortunately is costly.

  • +3

Just don't like the mobo which has really bad vrm.
Is there option for MSI gaming plus b650m or any similar priced mobo with good vrm?

    • +1

Not at this stage, the deal is for the GIGABYTE B650M Gaming PLUS only as the base model. It won't be possible with the MSI board at this price.

  • Any ideas how noise would be in the dan case? I would like a modular PSU but the msi doesn't look too good, any other psu options?

    • The only options are the modular MSI options or the InWin 1050W at this stage. They're fantastic options and have a very low failure rate. Otherwise, we do have GIGABYTE UD750GM/UD850GM if you prefer that we can add in the builder.

There will be some noticeable noise in the A3 case as it is a mesh case all around. Anything that's a moving component, like AIO or GPU fans will make some form of reasonable noise under load.

      • Thanks, does the warranty cover the individual components. I.e if I decided in months time to swpa all the parts into a different case would your warranty be void?

  • +2

@ Nebula PC the price difference between 7800x3d and 9800x3d at JW computer is just $89 dollars, do you have a similar upgrade offer for this deal?

    • +1

I second this @SkywalkerX. The jumpt o 9800X3d is too much compared to other stores. @Nebula PC - Can you a deal with 9800X3d for 89 more?

      • +1

If I could, I would however you can't compare retail price differences with our whole system deals unfortunately. Our cost difference between many components you see with retail price differences are not the same. This would be the best possible configuration and pricing for OzBargain.
