Is nashville the spicy version?
yes
Fantastic. Thanks, I really liked the Steggles hot and spicy tenders, hope this is the similar
Bought when last on sale and was sceptical of how they would taste. Can guarantee this is the best frozen chicken you can get! Cooked in the air fryer and couldn’t believe how crispy and tender it was, great substitute for my KFC addiction!
Tegel's crunch is better than KFC IMHO!
Thanks. Added your recommendation to the OP :)
Would this be cheaper than Costco? I am asking the price and not take the $60 membership fee into it.
$16 at Costco for 1kg. Yes cheaper by 80 cents.
80 cents savings to enter Zombie land checking out.
80c is 5% of it, which is the normal eGC saving.
I only goes to Costco to stack on my beef mince, eggs and nappies. This makes the battle with zombies worth it.
Otherwise even with $10 savings, NAH.
No this would be more expensive than Costco. 2x $8.40 = $16.80. So no, not cheaper than Costco if they are $16.00 for 1kg

Also I thought you can't post Woolworths catalogue deals before 5pm on a Monday 🤔
About time that ban was lifted. Thanks for the info
Does that lifted ban also apply to Coles?
Coles early posting was never banned in the first place.
Will getem
64% chicken. That may be good or bad, depending on your needs.
P's Get Degrees
That's very good compared to all the other frozen chicken tenders you get at the supermarkets.
I think this is the crux of it. Compared to the rest in the frozen food isle, it’s the best. But outside of that, they’re pretty mid. I was disappointed when I tried these based on everyone’s comments tbh.
Yeah, they're excellent… for frozen supermarket tenders. Maybe the best along with the Aldi ones.
But people saying it's as good or even better than KFC are dreaming, they're passable. Still, I'll be buying a bunch of these.
@p32h8h9sedf: Which aldi ones would you recommend? I've noticed my local Aldi has a few different types of frozen chicken with various American type names, but I've never actually tried them.
@MrGareth: I take back what I said, I got some of these Tegels tenders and I think they're better than the Aldi ones not much competition. The Aldi ones are still good though, you'll know the ones because they actually have have a decent amount of chicken in them. Most tenders have jack all real chicken, these tegels and the good aldi ones have significantly more chicken and protein than regular tenders. The packaging is like purple and it's similar branding.
confused products (deleted)
Just cooked some today from last batch purchase. Some pieces were extremely salty. No consistency..
Was going to ask were these the overly salty ones. Purchased some brand a while back promoted here. Never again not good.
These are super salty. I stopped buying them
Yeah, I bought these once based on how people rave about it here and it's just tasteless chicken and salt. I don't get it.
I bought it once a few years ago and remember it to be v v salty. I've not bought them again since.
Are they actual chicken pieces as opposed to processed/manufactured?
64% is not bad when you take into account a decent amount of batter, right?
err thought these were the chicken portions disregard everything I said
Here for the answer but I doubt we’re getting breast or tendies for this price.
Yes, real tenders
The spicy version tasted subjectively terrible. Salty af and they have almost all chicken breast. I just realised I asian never like to touch deep fry chicken breast cooked by western, it like chewing rock.
Might be an unpopular opinion but I think KFC are tastier than these?
I found Tegal a tad manky especially when you get to the myoglobin filled bones
Also nashville is overly saltyNote: in true ozb spirit I bought 4 bags to try, but by the 2nd bag I couldn't take it anymore.
yeah I tried the chicken burger patties and the chicken pieces, way to salty. Prefer some KFC as its less salty, and that's saying something!
Do they have a non spicy version?
Yes get the Louisiana style
Yes and I actually prefer these over the spicier Nashville ones

Last time they sold out within 30 minutes I was told at my local, might have to be there before open this time!
This shit is crack
Is this halal? Ive googles and looks like it is but there is no halal sticker on it.
Yes, rest assured the chickens were slaughtered as inhumanely as possible and someone said abra cadabra afterwards.
I always stock up on these (the Louisiana style) and make my own pepper mayo to dip, highly recommend. Pepper mayo recipe thanks to Chebbo.
The last bag I had was soooo salty
Yes, I found all Tegel Takeout varieties are very salty too.
I see chicken, I click upvote +
Breakfast for the little ones sorted for Easter. Thanks OP.
Anyone noticed the spicy ones have a new coating and the chicken inside is more processed?
I prefer the 'chicken portions' like drumsticks and qtr pieces but they all seem to have stopped selling them they're really hard to find only these gross dry tenders now
this is how aussie kids start saying take out when aussies say TAKE AWAY!!!!
If you really like that brand this 1 kilo size of chicken portions not tenders is $14
https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/71375Excellent, this will complement my 9 for 9 KFC chicken pieces…
Yuka rating: 36/100 (poor)
✅ high in protein, low in sugar & saturated fat
❌ Contains risky additives
What if one is not risk adverse
1kg $14 normal price why buy 500g?
Found out the 1kg not the same.
I think you can hear my thoughts… 😂 😂 😂. Nice
