    that could be missed

Regardless, the deal will be missed. Their website never works when it comes to the checking-out stage.

    • Seems to be working okay atm, family member just picked one up

      Hi

Apologies for the issues previously during the other deals, we have upgraded our server infrastructure multiple times over the break, and we will continue to do so to ensure down time can be minimized.

      • I can confirm it works now unlike before. Happy shopping everyone.

hey rep the last deal of Soniq 55" of $159 I bought it says 4K@50/60Hz on the listing

so i bought thinking that. now site is loading then manual apparently only says 4K@30Hz can you confirm that it is 4k@60Hz or not ?? the soniq one non smart $159 ??

if not that can they upgrade that to this JVL one ??

        • Hi

Would you be able to direct us to where you saw it? If there is any issues with the order you have placed, whether it is cancellation or wanting to change it. Please contact us at sales@soniq.com and we will rectify the issue for you on Tuesday, when our team is back

        • Exact same question as purchased the same deal. Would love if can be confirmed it's 4k@60hz:))

          • @mcceen: Hi

The E55 ($159) does support 4k@50/60 Hz. The section where you saw 4K@30Hz was under "Supported PC Input Signal". If you would like to process a refund please reach out to us with your order number at sales@soniq.com

        • Can confirm the TV is working at 4k@60Hz connecting to a HTPC.

          • @Duk: I had some trouble getting 60Hz to work with the Chromecast until I enabled HDMI 2.0 in the TV's settings. HDMI CEC was also disabled by default.

Thanks for fixing the back end. Not snappy, but did get through ok this time - much improved!
Hopefully the 55" is decent. I'll be finding out soon.
    Cheers.

  • Any chance this one has old style composite connectors like the non-smart tv? @soniqaustralia

Inb4 "Is this LED or LCD?".
LED is the backlight, LCD is the display.

Its energy-efficient LED display delivers vibrant visuals while using less power.

    🤦‍♂️

  • Would this be an upgrade or downgrade from an ancient 59" Samsung FHD plasma?
I have little experience with cheap UHD TVs but hoping the extra resolution and smart TV functionality would make it better and possibly lower on energy consumption

    • That's an upgrade in my books, no matter how you look at it (pun intended).

    • If you use it for 4 hours a day you will pay it off in a year just with the power saved.

    • +2

Stick with the Samsung plasma. This will be rubbish in comparison.

  • Any 65" available or to be available soon?

Looks like its a digtal signage type display, and doesnt actually have any smart TV stuff built into it despite the name? (lists no ethernet or wifi on the specs) but then description shows it does.
Of course just plug in a PC, fire-stick or whatever but just be aware the potential issue

Considering buying one, $66 shipping looks to be the price

  • +1

    $77 now. Was $66 before. I’ll pass.

  • $77 shipping.

Hi Soniq reps, can this one stream netflix, disney+, and prime amazon?

Why i can read some view review that say this is not a smart tv.

    • +2

Weird, I paid 66$ for delivery. Based in Melbourne. I'd honestly recommend just getting a chromecast or firestick, i'm doubtful the inbuilt software will even be good.

  • Soniq sells JVL TVs…. interesting and no local retailers.

  • Out of stock

  • We get em super cheap bargain coz the Yanks won't pay 125% lol.

  • Just ordered the 55" this morning. Back in stock.

As we process a couple of refunds, the website will be updated along the way as well.

      • You cancelled my order without a reason and I’m yet to get a refund. The contact details page does not work. Order #4567

  • Do we get a confirmation on when it's ready to pick up ? I click view your order on the email and it's just takes me to some advertised stock

    • Did you have it now? I'm still waiting for the pickup email.

I can only see that my order is processing on my order page.

      • +1

Still yet to get any confirmation

        • I'm still waiting too for pickup in Sydney.

          • @parta: I have been notified since Thursday night it's ready in melb but Friday was anazc day and weekend not open

  • Is soniq going out of business.

  • Picked up the order ! brilliant TV for the price….

PS: Please fix your email system - still getting emails to pick it up :-(

    • They have sent me an email every hour all day to pick tip the screen hahaha
how are you finding the screen ? Decent picture quality ? Does it have any casting capabilities or apps ? Was thinking of refunding it and buying one of those TCL deals today but might just stick it out for 6 months with this 55 inch as I won't be using it much currently anyways

    • Hey mate, can you open the built-in tv store? and netflix?

      I can't open them, weird.

  • @soniqaustralia - I haven’t gotten an email for pick up yet in Brisbane. Should I expect this anytime soon, or just hold my breath for a bit longer? Order #4794

    • I'm waiting for pickup in Brisbane too. My order status is Exported to Odoo, whatever that means.

      • Same as mine. What's Odoo? I sent an inquiry, let's see what they respond with.

        • I have no idea what Oddo means.

        • My order is ready for collection this morning!

    • I ordered on 18th April. No email, no phone number, no way to contact. Pick up is at Crestmead, but no address.

      • Order #4486

        • I finally got the confirmation email. I'm going to pick it up on Tuesday. It's strange, but the only place I got a reply from Soniq was here at OzBargain.

does anyone know if this website is genuine. paid for a TV 3 weeks ago. no update, no way to contact. is this a scam

    • It's real

    • +1

      Hi,

We are experiencing some delays with transportation which is preventing pickup orders from being collected. We do apologise! Feel free to send us a message if you have any more questions

      • +1

how about the delivery order? when we can expect to get our items? Thanks

        • Also still waiting with no updates.

        • +1

          Hi,

We have shipped out all orders which are currently in transit or have been delivered. Expect to receive your items next week!

  • Just got it today, thank you

    Its an android tv!
But, after i set it up, i cant open the tv store and also the featured app which has netflix and prime.
Everytime i press them, it kind of want to open the app, then it got back to the previous screen.

    How to fix this? Hmm
