    • Thanks for the heads up. Original link only worked AFTER you had entered your postcode. Fixed now

  • Delivery sort of kills it for me, otherwise it's an awesome price.

isn't that the usual price when delivering any white good? I mean, they could add it back to the price and call it free delivery. ;)

i don't have a ute, a moving trolly or a strong back to do such things, so i think $75 is worth it.

  • I have the 7kg version of it and am pretty happy with it. I paid a similar price on special from Harvey Norman 6 months ago.

One word of warning though - the stickers spruke it as a water efficient machine. While it is true that it doesn't use much water in the water saving cycle, the other 7 modes fill the tub right up and use loads. I only worked this out when I ran my rainwater tank dry and started scratching my head.

This can be seen as a plus though - you have the option of running it water efficient or not. You definitely end up with more fluff all over your stuff in the efficient mode.

  • Even better of you managed to score a few of those Masters $20 gift cards

    • If you got the $20, 5% staff and a ute, even better deal!

  • how do i claim the cash back? through samsung?

  • Yes, online form or snail mail. You get either a virtual or Citibank EFTPOS card.

  • Would've loved one except the lids open too high for our unit's laundry. Started looking instead at the ones with split lids and now even front loaders… :/

    • even front loaders… :/

There is a very good samsung frontloader for $397 after cashback…

Much better bang for buck than this relic.

      • Cheapest I could find was from appliancesonline but they're out of stock. I'm in Sydney. Any pointers?

Now also checking out the 10kg version. From under $400 to now contemplating $1k!!

    Jb hifi sell washing machines?

Sorry, didn't mean to be cyanical or mean spirited but JB Hi Fi in select areas is branching out and diversifying into white goods.

      • Why is this dude's comment got negged? Have a bit of laugh and relax people~I found that funny. My friend did the same to me when i asked something~

  • I bought one 3 months ago at Harvey Norman for $595 before cash back (Incl delivery & remove old machine). Great Machine - my "Best Purchase of 2012". Great washing results. Before had top of line Simpson. $75 cash back worked well with them sending Citibank EFTPOS card with $75 credit on it that I used at supermarket with no problem. Card took 4 weeks to arrive. I'm very happy. THIS NOW IS GREAT DEAL. :-)

  • Just went to Harvey Norman in Dandenong (much closer to me than Masters in Knox) and got them to match the price of $497 without a hassle :-)

Just unboxed it, I have never seen such a fancy washing machine! They have changed so much compared my 20 year old machine.

Hopefully it lasts 20 years like the old machine.

  • Does anyone know if brand new washing machines can be transported on their side or back?

    • +1

Frontloaders can because the tubs are bolted to the frame for shipping.

      • Thanks for this, so I assume top loaders you cant..
