    Stop reading after this

4 weeks free cover will be applied to your policy after 26 months from the start of your policy.

    • It's still 10 weeks free in a 13 month period unless you are looking to churn multiple providers in a year.

More like multiple providers a quarter

6 weeks free cover will be applied to your policy after 31 days from the start of your policy.

This is reason enough to join. That's a great discount.

      You can churn after that.

  • When do the HBF extra limits reset? 1 Jan or 1 July?

      1 jan

  • I assume see-u HBF customers ("HBF branded policy") from the last 12 months would be exempt?

    • The unofficial answer is you might still be eligible for this offer. However, I would strongly advise to call and get a verbal or written confirmation before purchasing as the T&Cs doesn't specify that clearly.

when you ask interns on how to aquire customers

Of course, that's the elaborate plan. Just hire a graduate and make sure they join OzBargain and keep posting all kinds of deals and comments for more than 12 years and when the day arrives post a deal declaring you work for them so that everyone thinks HBF is so loaded that they hire an intern to post one or two deals about them in 12 years.

Spoke with Hbf online and after some back and forth was told that if transferring from see-u you are eligible for the 14 weeks free promotion.

  • What if we had cover with see-u by HBF but not HBF?

      • Yeah I saw that, but online chat can be hit and miss on if they know the rules. Wanted to check with you as well, but if you are quoting the above comment then I guess you agree with that statement too?

        • As I am mentioned in my earlier comment what I reply here is not an official response. I am not a store rep for HBF. Just another OzBargainer who happened to work there. The online chat response is more legitimate than mine in case you need to dispute it. I guess the reason they won't specifically advertise if see-u members are eligible is there is no benefit to HBF in providing incentives for existing members of one of their own brand moving to HBF.
