  • Anyone with past experiences of whether the cashback comes through on these kinds of deals? Could be good for Switch 2

    • Would be $680 (switch + Mario Kart) but honestly I don't think I want to deal with "city of games" as a seller. They are an online only seller with no information on where shipping is from nor an ABN etc..

      • All that info is on their website, here is the direct listing: https://www.cityofgames.com.au/nintendo-switch-2-console-mar…

Almoat seems like it's worth a shot for 30% off? Sign up for Shopback+ to add a layer of security?

        • Thanks. I looked for the ABN but managed to miss it

      • I tried this and bought. Just got a cancellation email.

        • Any reasons given? I can still see the consoles listed.

          • @MackyKing: The email listed these reasons:

            • All items are out of stock
            • Our Everyday Market partner is unable to deliver to your shipping address
            • Items in your order had incorrect information displayed eg. price, description

    • I had issues getting it to track but put in a claim and had it approved once I directly contacted support (not their AI chatbot)

I got PS5 Disc Slim for about $410 the first time this deal ran. Took quite a while but paid out fine. 👍

    • I bought some wireless headphones from a Woolies Marketplace reseller when they had 35% cashback. Deal was never tracked. Lodged two support tickets with shopback with no resolution. I have provided them with all the receipts showing the time of the transaction the payment from my bank etc that all lines up with the time of the 35% deal, but that does not seem to be enough for them. So my advice is just be aware that your recourse for disputing a purchase that didn't track is basically NIL.
Never had an issue tracking a sale before then, but I'm down $112 and have used TCB or Cash Rewards ever since.

  • Does this stack with $10 off first everyday market order - code EMSAVE10

    • Don't try this deal and if you do want to then don't use code.

  • -1

    Don't buy through this deal…

I posted screenshot of my experience before.

Shop back will track your purchase and send you email.

But then dodgy way they will decline it and don't send email about it so you forget and never claim back.

If you do dispute then they will reinstate it but again cancel it.

THIS IS DODGY DEAL BY SHOPBACK AND EVERYDAY MARKET.

    STAY AWAY

    • My cash back from November is confirmed. YMMV 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • Did you make a complaint with them?

After getting no joy through their internal complaint process have you complained to AFCA?

  • I received my last cashback for this type of deal, tracked and confirmed for a hallway table/buffet.
Even had damage on it and got a new part sent out.

I was cautious and took screenshots etc just in case.

  • Made an order and its tracked at $0. Hoping it fixes itself for now (didn't hit any of the exclusions).

    • +1

Ditto. Order amount was tracked at $0 and therefore cashback was also $0.

      • At least we're not alone (if it tracked first time that would be better of course)!

      • Order just got cancelled. Oh well I tried!

  • +4

Also $0 tracked for me, bought a ninja creami deluxe for $309 so hopefully it gets corrected

    • Same boat as you :/

  • Ongoing problems with Everyday Market via different cashback sites

If you purchase, go into it taking lots of screenshots and with an awareness you will probably need to chase it up.

    If everything was tracking correctly
You can easily get a Nintendo Switch 2 for below $600 after cashback

  • Tracked at $0

  • @gotyourback can you take a look into the above $0 tracking issues? Also, previous Nov deals caused massive frustration to many users who had to constantly follow up to get them credited/paid

    • Also made an order at TopCashback that tracked at 0%. I submitted a support ticket today Sunday 10 May at 12:13 p.m.

Reply received 13 minutes later: "please note that your transaction is showing $0 sale value. Woolworths have advised this issue will be corrected next week."

      • +1

Thanks for flagging this — really sorry for the hassle 😕 We're aware of the $0 tracking issue and are currently looking into it with the team.

Appreciate your patience, and we'll make sure this gets rectified soon 🙏

  • •When a cap is specified, it will apply per member for the length of the promotional period. E.g. $100 cap running alongside an upsized Cashback lasting 3 days, will allow for a maximum pay out of $100 per customer for the 3 day length of the promotion.

So this is $200 capped per account instead of $200 per order?

    • +1

      Per account.

  • Cant see this on my app
    Not active yet?

    • Good to know if this would work with TCB best rate guarantee…

  • +2

If ShopBack reject the cashback, you can't do anything. 3 of my orders were rejected even though I uploaded the tax invoice to them. Got bot-like response from shopback. But on TopCashback, the rejected cashback was confirmed only several days after I reported it. Both are on Everyday Market

    • +2

Yes, this is also my experience with Shop Back. Have used alternatives ever since.

  • Tracked at $0 here. Getting their support now.

  • Tracked at $0 as well (twice for just 1 order and 1 item)… Existing customer, $90 + $11 delivery for a figure from The Gamesmen, so should be tracked… So broken…

  • Yet the offer is still available until 11 May when everyone’s reporting as $0 tracked

    • But "Capped at $50" with these terms. Does my head in lol
Could be a separate promotion as it has a different cap.

When a cap is specified, it will apply per member for the length of the promotional period. E.g. $100 cap running alongside an upsized Cashback lasting 3 days, will allow for a maximum pay out of $100 per customer for the 3 day length of the promotion.

  • Tracked at $0 for me too :(

  • Also tracked as $0. I tried to cancel, but all enquiries are just passed directly on to the marketplace seller—so you're pretty much at their mercy. Convenient setup for Woolworths, though. If you look at the deal history for Shopback and Everyday Market, it's the same complaints being rehashed every time, i think its time someone take some action.

This round doesn’t sound like a ShopBack issue

Someone above reported that similar was happening at TopCashback where the sales was reported as $0

      Comment here

Seems like an Everyday Market issue, rather than a ShopBack issue

  • Another submission confirming tracked at $0 :/
also lodged a missing cashback request this morning

    • Support ticket progress: first tracked at $0.80
Update today: verified purchase, but not finalised (till 7 Aug 2025)

      cautiously hopeful

  • Anyone had any response back from Shopback about the $0 tracking?

    • +1

Nothing. For a purchase of this amount its a bit stressful and lack of customer service or adequate support is very frustrating

  • Any updates from anyone? Mine is still $0. Did everything by the book. In app purchase no adblockers. Screen showing cashback activated. Will never be touching shopback again if the transaction is not successful

    • No, havent created a ticket yet as sometimes these things correct themselves but looks like it hasnt here. Like u I did everything by the book, turned off adblocker, no codes, had the green light for cashback activated from the plugin right before I paid yet still $0

Shopback now have 30% cashback again, very frustrating that they happily run these deals when they havent fixed the issues with the last time

  • -1

My $309 purchase has now gone from $0 tracked to $0.62. This is getting so ridiculous!

    • There is now a message that comes up on the chat.

      "📢 Everyday Market Shoppers!
We're aware that the Cashback amount for Everyday Market from 8th May 2025 onwards is currently showing incorrectly. Our team is actively working on it, and we are expecting it to be fixed within 48 hours. Thanks for your patience while we sort this out!"

So hopefully it still gets corrected.

      • mine tracked to $0.67 now. Ridiculous

  • Seems like it's fixed. I got the full amount tracked (adjusted). No ticket submitted.

    Not bad :)
