    • I was going to post that

    • Oh bugger. That's the exact same one I've got.

I saw a review on Youtube of one of these cheap "ultrasonic cleaners" from Temu or a similar site and it apparently wasn't actually an ultrasonic cleaner and didn't do anything, no idea of the brand and it was about a year or two ago, but before anyone buys they should probably check out whether these are actually legit or not.

    • If they are made of plastic they can't work. The ultrasonic horn needs the metal masin to resonate. So don't buy a plastic one.

This has a metal trough. Look closely.

    • Vevor are legit. Amazing company.

I didn't say Vevor weren't legit, but in this case, the product literally CAN'T work.

        • +2

How? It has a metal trough. You can literally see in the picture.

@Tacooo: well you go buy it and let us know how well it works.

@uncyspam: Good one. Your own point was proven wrong so you double down.

    • I have this exact product and can confirm it's legit, runs off 12V DC and has a real ultrasonic transducer. The fake ones have plastic water tanks, this one only has a plastic enclosure, the actual water tank is metal. Good enough if you just want to clean your glasses, but it's definitely not a very powerful unit.

  • Not ultrasonic, it just vibrates and makes noise.

    • Hah, I can do that myself!
      Saved $25.64, thanks.

    • I'd be surprised, because Vevor sell many legit tools. You got proof this isn't legit? Because I have a larger ultrasonic cleaner from them that is legit.

      • I have a similar looking one, but not Vevor. I retracted my negative vote.

    • I had one before and it is metal inside and works great. I used it for clean my miniature ww resin print and washes really well. I needed bigger one so now I have 2L and 10L from vevor and they are really amazing.

Vevor…you people still owe me a couple of hundred bucks for a useless trailer dolly that was missing parts which you would not supply. I will never ever deal with you again and am amazed to see you flogging crap on OZB.

  • Hey Vevor,
Any chance you can do a special OzBargain code for a 15L stainless-steel model for those of us that have bigger things to keep clean?

I've bought three different Ultrasonic cleaners from Vevor, all of which have the metal basket have stopped working
The last one I bought a month ago stopped working. I message their support and they told me to check the fuse without any instructions.
After figuring it out, the fuse looked ok but the machine is still not working.
It seem like an inherent issue and I've got three dead machines.

Vevor support is shit and not really support. They are good to take your money but don't count on them when shit hits the fan.
I'd say by from ebay or other retailers that will give you refund if it dies.
