If you just want another cheap transatlantic cruise, this Carnival one is also quite cheap, although you get less for your money (i.e. no WiFi, shore credit etc).

    13-Day Transatlantic from Barcelona, Spain
    Carnival Glory
    Apr 11, 2026 - Apr 24, 2026
Total of $2,083.60 ($80.14 per person, per night)

    • Some of those pics make it look like a crazy spring break party

      • They market themselves as more of a party cruise atmosphere

  • All ends well if that ends well

  • Omg wouldn't that be a crazy busy time of year to travel .

    • No the NH don't celebrate Xmas for very long, early December is really quiet up there.

    • Yeah unless you're willing to stay another 3 weeks traveling through the USA then the flight back will be expensive. Even then you're paying the premiums for Christmas and New Years.

Am I an idiot or am I missing something?

I'm not saying "why is this on OzBargain?" To be a (profanity), but why is this on OzBargain? Can I hop on it in Australia? Good deal, and I'm quite interested in it tbh but if I have to fly to another country AND back the cost goes a shitload higher so am I an idiot and missing something or?

Europe any time of the year is awesome for various reasons however if you have the choice to do other times I'd recommend it. Europe in December is generally pretty atrociously wet and cold, let alone on a boat. Most Brits go to Spain and southern France for this time period and leave northern Europe and uk.

the amount of 'at sea' days seems like a lot for this cruise.

The Early booking bonus is not on these cheap fares - you have to choose the 'Have it all - booking bonus' fare - $1199 ($79.93 pp per night) is the cheap fare against $2624 ($174.93 pp per night) for an inside cabin.

If only I had not decided not to boycott the US travel wise the next few years…

If only I had not decided not to boycott the US travel wise the next few years…

It reveals other possibilities that might not usually get much consideration - not such a bad thing.

We've done these Atlantic winter cruise relocations before. The ocean mitigates the winter cold and it's surprisingly balmy at sea .. 😊..!! We're doing another with MSC in October this year .. Civitavecchia (Rome) to Miami.. 😘..!!
