Just a heads up - Supercheap price match = unfortunately, Wipertech sell cheap chinese knock off Aerotwin wipers - mine that I bought off them lasted less than 12 months
So just google up genuine Bosch Aerotwin wipers (I found an online retailer selling them for $15 ea) then get Supercheap to match the price
The last genuine Bosch Aerotwins I had lasted almost 4 years

May I ask you what evidence you have to substantiate that claim? I've been watching Ross Reviews and Redriven for a long time, and they are both significant sponsors of Wipertech's products. It'd be a shame to find out that they're not good quality.

      • +3

Isnt that what you'd want someone sponsored by the product to say?

      • +2

I would also love to know more.

I bought 2 pairs off them and they've been great. Cannot comment on the longevity as I bought them only few months ago

      • +4

YT channels get PAID to read out whatever script the sponsor hands them.

      • Not sure why anyone would think that a mass marketed brand would be better than Bosch…

I've had Wipertech on 2 vehicles in the past. They start off well but then the rubber seems to go hard very quickly after about 6 months so they become noisy. I can't recommend.

      • +2

same .. bought 1 set including front and rear. Now driver side is streaking and leaving mark. raised claim and was told to do a video. their CS told me to do this and that, but it is clear that driver side having issue. can't be bothered anymore, going back to original and replace the rubber

    • Was wondering if these are as good as Aerotwin, good to know, thanks

      • +1

Nope, my Wipertechs lasted around a year before it started to squeak/annoy me, got aerotwins and now coming up on 2 years with no issue.

    • +3

I agree about Wipertech quality. Bought it once for my hatchback and they lasted for about 6 months or so. And I'm not a frequent driver. So yeah, I said never again to Wipertech. Better buy from a reputable brand.

Sadly have to agree with this.

My last Wipertechs barely lasted 9 months.

I recently price matched Bosch wipers with SCA with https://www.prestigeautoparts.com.au/genuine-bosch-wiper-bla…

        Link broken?

    • Same experience for me too. Bosch Aerotwins FTW.

    • I have had Bosch wipers and they do last a bloody long time, must be that German rubber

  • I see you also watch Ross Reviews OP. He's alright for a Canadian bogan living in Perth.

As a general rule, basically any product/service that is being advertised by youtubers/podcasts is junk.

  • +1

It wasn’t that long ago that the “expensive” windshield wipers were $20

    The prices have gone insane

  • +2

Use silicon based wiper blades, it will last longer than natural rubber and wont scratch the windscreen when the edges starts to crack

  • just bought a wiper for 4 dollars from temu for my camry. worked flawlessly.

  • Currently using wipers from AliExpress for the last 6 months. One was $4 and the other $5 so $9 for the pair.

    • +3

Congratulations you’re using genuine Wipertech wipers then lol

  • Costco has been selling Michelin brand all sizes for $9.97

    • +1

They're pretty good, but not as good as Bosch.

    • +2

They are trash and don't last long. It hardens and starts squeak after a few months. Bought a set of Piaa from Costco Japan a few mths again and can't fault them.

      • Were you in Japan?

        • We stayed at Haneda want went to the Kawasaki Warehouse

    • They don't have all the sizes .. could never find the one for my car

  • who sells the best wiper refills though?

  • I got them about a year ago (original one lasted about 4 years before I can't take it anymore). My car is always parked outdoor and so far it's been fine for me.

Last purchase was junk, buyer beware!

  • +2

Wiper tech is pure junk. I bought a set and the front driver wiper started squeaking after 3 months. Stick to Bosch Aerotwins is my advice.

  • bought a pair from temu last year April for $10-15 per pair. it last until now still ok… before temu, bought bosch, michelin and others, all rubbers go hard within 6 months and making noise. temu wiper can last longer than these branded wipers and only a fraction of the price.

  • Bought this as well for daily driver, started streaking after about 6 months, went back to Bosch for the weekend car.
