    "Dual Driver"

Aviot will ship a Triple driver ANC headphone in July. Aviot WA-J1 (use browser translate function). (this is the page for the Hyde limited edition, can't find the page for the normal version).

price for normal version is around $400 in japan. I would wait until price drops on amazon jp. you can probably get it delivered for that much including shipping/fees.

apparently using new better efficient driver tech too, so it has 140 hours battery life and as fast to charge as a normal headphone (because the regular battery size).

What does an upcoming Aviot headphone have to do with this?

      • -2

both expensive unknown brand ANC headphones with most likely mediocre ANC. except the Aviot is 3 driver per side, the Noble Audio is only 2 driver per side.

also Aviot will be around $200 cheaper.

just sharing another option. the specs seemed impressive to me. I thought it was helpful, users can decide for themselves which they want to buy.

not sure why you and OP getting defensive tbh. I literally had users telling me "who in their right mind will buy this" "waste of space" "better not buying anything" "buying 2nd hand random product on marketplace is better" on my recent deal which is what I would say are reasons to be defensive.
when I asked for example of another product not a single one of them recommended a product which wasn't very helpful and the best answer I got was "there aren't any good ones".

    • so people should not buy this for new headphones that haven't been review or even released with a potentially different sound stage ?

      • -3

I never said people shouldn't buy what you posted.

just pointing out another mostly unknown brand headphone that's coming out with 3 driver per side. because Dual driver seems to be the biggest selling point of the Noble Audio headphones.

not sure what a soundstage has to do with it tbh. all it says it "Hybrid dual driver" and "This innovative setup ensures unparalleled audio fidelity, delivering a rich and immersive listening experience."

          lol “mostly unknown”
You obviously have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about when it comes to audio. Old mate posts one subwoofer deal and reckons he’s the result expert now.

          The hubris is baffling strong.

          Noble isn't an "unknown" brand.
Unknown to you perhaps but they've been in the audio game a long time and quite famous for custom in ear monitors made in the US.

Number of drivers also isn't determinant of sound quality in any way shape or form

except that's exactly what Noble Audio is doing with their headphone.. 🤔

I say mostly unknown because these ultra expensive ANC headphones claiming high quality sound aren't popular and nobody is really searching for brands like Noble and Aviot. they usually have mediocre ANC and OK sound. might as well save a bit and get Sony ANC headphones which will actually do the ANC part properly so you can actually hear your music.

more common known high end options are Bang Olufsen (I got the Portal) and Bowers Wilkins but they are pretty overpriced, same mediocre ANC and feedback says the sound is either you like it or you hate it. but for users who can afford them I guess it's nice to have many flashy options (like Noble, Aviot etc). as you can see the Aviot also has the luxury vibe like Bang Olufsen and Bowers.

also never claimed to be an expert on anything. actually I type "I'm not an expert but" a lot on ozb.
I'm very happy with this $26 speaker.

@rian354252: Being quite famous for a niche market like in ear monitors sounds like a company that is "mostly unknown". This isn't an audiophile board, idk why you'd consider Noble to not be relatively unknown to your regular folk who come through here, what with your description of what is meant to make them known/famous ;s
