  • Thanks OP, helps me justify the cost of a switch 2 even more now than the previous $300 offer.

It does say it in the "view important information" section:

If you have previously held a Kogan Money Credit Card, you will not be eligible for this offer.

I signed up with a different email address and reference phone number but the live chat told me that they could see that I used to have the card a few years ago and I wouldn't be eligible. However I still got the bonus credit after hitting the minimum spend so YMMV.

      • Interesting, I closed mine in November and just trying to reapply at the moment. I've never had any issues with ID verification on any portal. It's accepting everything and then raising to the team to verify, I'm then getting a rejection due to "customer verification policies". Not sure if it's an issue or whether they're rejecting because they can see I've had it previously with a different email address.

I've raised an escalation to get it looked at. Ideally want to get the $400 credit but if I don't, I still don't mind keeping this one as a fee free card, Kogan First for occasional spends, as well as the credit rewards. Keep it at min credit limit and use it as an in-between churning card.

Could be due to me using the same mobile number?

        • Annoyingly it appears there was an issue with my app. They can see 3 applications repeated and it's broken their system. Their only advice was to wait out the application expiry period and apply again. Unsure if the $400 credit deal will still be available at that point…

  • Ive had this card before so I'm guess I'm out

    • Thanks for letting us know.
