QuickJack 7000TL-208-240V $2,799.98 Delivered @ Costco (Membership Required)

First post on here so hope this is right

I just saw that this QuickJack 7000TL-208-240V has finally made its way to Costco and its $595.02 cheaper than Sydney Tools.

Looks really useful for the home garage and a whole lot safer and more stable than jack stands if you have the funds.

Not much more for a proper 2 post car hoist

useful because its portable and if u have a smaller shed than cant fit a proper hoist this is a great alternative

Portability. Most people don't have space to have a permanent 2 post hoist.

A vehicle lifting device that doesn't state what the safe lift capacity is? Dohhhhh

    • pretty sure the 7000 refers to LBS but thats around 3.1 tons i believe

It's a reasonable deduction…. but safe working load for consumer equipment should never be guided by deductions….

      https://quickjack.com/7000tl/

It says right there in large font "7,000 Capacity (lbs)" - is this not the safe lift capacity ?

If you have to go somewhere other than the seller's website it isn't good enough.
The costco seller's website https://www.costco.com.au/Tyres-Automotive/Garage/Car-Jacks-… doesn't say what the quickjack site says.
I accept that the device is rated at 7,000 lbs. I also know that the retailer's ad doesn't say that.

that is a valid criticism of the seller website, but not exactly a criticism of the item for sale.
Retailer's site also doesn't specify this but I assume the 240V in the model code refers to the voltage used.

      • I agree…. IF the device is clearly marked with its weight rating.

and lists that they price match….

    • Delivery is +$100 to ACT metro. Costco includes delivery.

      • but requires (paid?) membership?

        • True. I already have it for the fuel savings, but yes… if you didn't have it you need to spend $70 on membership.

          • @UFO: sounds like a good way to get a free costco membership with your jack purchase.

  • Horizontal bars are 0 degrees to ground but why vertical bars are not really 90 degrees to ground.

  • This lift brand also has higher lifting pads for raised vehicles.
