Yes, game pass is good value, but you can get the same value of game pass on PC (can built 4060 for a bit more money, and PC can be use for something else), or just go extra budget with XSS for half the price.
Games aren't as optimised for console as PC and more hassle to have in a theatre room on a 4k TV and then there's initial non-PC releases like GTA6.
I also use mine for the 4k Bluray player.

@esandjay: I think it comes down to the consumer.
If you like the controller and have funds to continually throw at all the games you wanna play, then PlayStation is the way to go.
If you don't, then Xbox Series is great value because you know you'll get a heap of new release games Day 1 for the quarter price of 1 game.
@RaijnAU: Game pass is great. I don't know why Sony doesnt complete (have similar or better line up) with Game pass.

Yes the oversized router has won the war. Imagine if there is no next-gen Xbox and it's just PS, the base console will be $1000.

In my circle of friends, not a single one has an Xbox Series X|S. They all have PS5's AND a Switch.
But I don't know about consoles winning or losing anymore. It's all about the games, and if PS and Xbox exclusives are going multiplatform, the better for everyone.
