  • New connections at newly connected Vision premises only.

A comment in the deal post from a few days ago indicate a favourable response from voda (customer asked about existing Vision Network connection with TPG / iiNet, was told the TC was intended to say you don't get this offer if youre wanting to connect with them). All the different businesses are wholly owned subs of TPG, but operate as independent businesses. Bit messy, definitely confusing.

Yes, I went to a Vodafone store and confirmed that I'm eligible for the offer even though I'm using a TPG FTTB (Vision network) plan. Signed up on the spot, ported my spare mobile number from Amaysim PAYG to Vodafone small postpaid plan, and got a 12-month free 500Mbps Vision home plan. So I will be saving $15 per month with an upgraded home Internet plan (from 100Mbps to 500Mbps) plus a mobile plan (100GB per month). Not a bad deal. :)

Any carrier is better than Kogan. Their porting team is garbage and manned by Indians

Any carrier is better than Kogan.

      Not TPG though

That's a shame. Back in ADSL days had no trouble with TPG. Their NBN new customer discount is good for the first six months but obviously not worth it if they are that bad.

You can blame the government for that !

      • +1

aren't we allowed to blame ruslan kogan for that?

      • +1

What has the government got to do with it?

It's a great offer, thanks for sharing! It is the same as this deal posted a few days ago, just different description.

  • +1

the fact you have to call them to find out pisses me off

    • Need to call? 🥲

  • That's an awesome offer for whoever is eligible for this product.

  • Only in few areas around the country apparently. Melbourne west not rolled out yet.

This is a great deal, Signed up in no time once I found out my place is in the vision network footprint.

Got a discounted postpaid sim with the Voda EOFY sale and now up to 500Mb/sec on my home internet. Thats definitely an nbn killer.

So 100GB sim plan and 500Mb/sec home internet - for 12 months.

The teleco price war for customers is definitely on!

    • Thanks for sharing upstate. lol, exactly same plan. $24.5/mth for 6mths and then 39/mth for another 6mths of bundle is great value. Did you order both online together, call / message, or head into a store? Also, happen to schedule a future connect date?

      • -1

I ordered both at the same time over the phone, as they don’t seem to allow you to order this online. Might be because they want to validate the service qualification l.

Once you get the modem you can then schedule a technician date, if required

  • I am already with Capti. I checked and the same offer is available. However contrary to the FAQ, they will still do a installation and check rather than simply just switch over
