Cashback terms and exclusions

  • You must empty your TEMU cart prior to clicking/tapping from TopCashback.
  • Any orders that are made from outside Australia or that are perceived to be made from outside Australia (ie using a VPN) are ineligible for cashback. This is at the sole discretion of TEMU (not TopCashback).
  • Cashback is ineligible on the portion of orders paid with TEMU credit or vouchers.
  • New customer rates & offers are limited to one (1) cashback per member account. Customer status is determined solely by TEMU and its decision is final. TopCashback has no control over this process.
  • Accepting a TEMU best price adjustment after your order has tracked will affect your reported cashback, and in some cases will reduce it significantly or be declined. Please do so at your own discretion. TopCashback has no control over this process.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.

    WARNING:
    My Temu order didn't track with TopCashback back in early April, even though the click was registered.
    I lodged a claim and have been waiting for over two months to no avail.

      I've had this with topcashback too.

      Exetel - never tracked, and I forgot to claim it
      Lenovo - never tracked, claimed, waiting 1mo+ now

      Never had a single issue with anyone else.

      Also how much of a scam is a marketplace to be able to offer an unlimited 45% off and still (clearly) make a profit?

      • They don't make a profit. On the contrary, they lose hundreds of millions every year.

    • Maybe it's time we start negging these 'offers' then.
      Clearly the process is too hard, for us and for TCB. And let's be honest with ourselves, they (insert company name and location) do not care after the fact. They've already got out money, and we'll likely come back again and again regardless! 🤦

    • same issue in May for me, logged a claim May 30 and still waiting for Temu to confirm. My guess is they will deny.

    • I've found the exact same thing with TopCashback. Lots of items sitting for months processing, and lots of claims sitting waiting. And you can't really communicate with anyone about them

      Even though ones like Shopback rarely have any good deals anymore, at least you can email them and tend to get a response.

    Same as others… no tracking and no response.
    I can't really blame TCB, but let's be honest, companies like Temu clearly don't care about aftersales service. They've got so much going on in the background as it is.
    But other OzBs need to be aware that these 'offers' could be fought with disappointment.
    And who knows, if there's enough backlash, maybe removed from our ranks.

      Sure we can. They’re the ones promoting the cash back despite the reported issues. Temu themselves don’t ever mention the cash back on their platform.

      Cashback has been faultless for me using TCB for Temu. Close to 20 orders now. My steps:

      Android mobile device
      Force close all apps.
      Drop off wifi/be on mobile network
      No VPN or custom filtering DNS
      TCB APP through to Temu mobile web on Chrome
      Add items from wishlist to cart and order.
      Rinse repeat per order

      I started having a few issues last year across CB sites seemingly random on PC but its been faultless since following this routine.

        Appreciate you posting this. After a missing Temu Cashback with Shopback I've managed to get them tracking perfectly every time but still haven't found the combo that works for me with TCB, will give this a whirl.

        I've had 2 from 2 not track with TCB, but to their credit once I've lodged a claim they've come through both times

        • Could you share the Shopback combo with Temu? Heard from others that SB claims got declined.

      • All my orders via TopCashback were tracked except for 2 orders from Temu.
        After lodging the claim and 2 months wait they tracked one of my Temu orders (I am yet to see if they pay) and I am still waiting for the second order to be tracked.
        Interestingly, both orders were for 40% cashback.

    • If you went through the whole process correctly (from clicking through TCB to claiming missing cashback) and it didn't work, you should blame TCB as well. TCB is happy to take their money and run the marketing campaign. Yes, there are things outside of TCB control, but TCB is still involved in the failure and should cope the blame.

      Having said that, it seems to work well for me on both TCB and SB.

    I have spent 1 year on Temu games and I finally got a $2 cash voucher. Only took 400hrs.

    • Havent played their games. Is it better or worse than Aliexpress plant watering game (that never seems to ends)

      Been there. Need to get to 100%, at the start it's 10%, then 5%, 2%, 1%, 0.01%
      I stopped before they took all the pi…percent out of me.

    I’d rather not use Temu than get 100% cashback.

    That site is the absolute worst in every way.

  • 2 purchases on Temu via TCB not tracked in the past week. I’ve never had any issue with Cashrewards and Shopback. This is so strange.

      I think its a combination of Temu being the more dodgy bastards here and then TCB just not caring and having a crap dispute process in general.

      For what its worth, TCB has so far worked for me with all other purchases (about a dozen purchases) besides Temu, including reliably paying out on Amazon which Cashrewards often requires me to dispute.

      The really dodgy thing about my Temu failure via TCB was it tracked and then it showed up as a pending reward with the correct cashback $$$ figure for at least a couple of days so it all looked good and then next thing I know the record is gone (not just rejected, totally removed from history) which I contested and all they sent back to me was a list of tips to avoid a tracking failure which clearly wasn't what happened.

      Could be 100% but means nothing if you don’t actually get the cashback.

  • Is cashback applicable to delivery from local warehouse? I have a couple of transactions not tracked across different cash back sites. Can't see any exclusions in the terms.

    I hate the cashback system. Why can't they just use a discount code at purchase instead.

  • Have had no issues with the cashback app on my phone, and purchasing via temu app.

    Website didn't track, lodged a claim and it went through.

  • Same as what others have mentioned. TCB tracking has been terrible for me. Superloop deal from Nov. did not track initially, eventually came through after 4 months.
    Amazon $10 cashback promo did not track on two seperate accounts.
    Recent Temu order did not track either.
    I've now started screen recording for all my orders that go through TCB.
    SB and CR are tracking fine.

  • TCB for me has been tracking, so I will keep using it. Recently got the 40% back and it tracked exactly as it should.
    (other rewards sites have not tracked).

    I will place another order today and see how it goes.

  • Negging as well. My last Temu transaction didn't track, I contacted TopCashback 2 times trying to follow up, they never responded.

    • I revoked my neg.
      Just got an email today (26/06) from TopCashback suggesting my Temu transaction is now payable… I logged in and it was there as available funds.. also an open ticket with one of their people replying back to my enquiry.
      I didn't bother logging in to look as no emails had came through at all (even into spam).
      Anyways claimed my $$$ and will use TopCashback again I suppose.

  • If you just want one item, just make an order with whatever to reach the minimum spend, then cancel the others.

    • How can you cancel after making the order? Do you get your money back?

      • of course. You can still cancel items before it's shipped. Doesn't work every time though.

  • I have placed an order already. Previous order was tracked under 24 hours. Most of my orders tracked successfully in the past. Even for few missing cashback, I still got the cashback eventually. Let's see this one …

      You're better off setting a reminder after 7 days to check the tracking.

  • Mine too. Hardly ever run into issues with these so always have a list ready for the next one. Some stats from this order:

    Order amount: 61.92
    Tracked amount: 52.82
    Cashback: 23.77

        When I click through tcb app it opens an internal browser even though i have the temu app installed

        • That's interesting. I just tried and TCB app did open an internal browser. But last time I was logged in and the stupid spin wheel did not come up so I probably was in my Temu app. TCB must have changed the launch recently.
